I need a distraction from the real world. Netflix isn't the only show in town, although it often seems like it. So what new non-streaming show has caught your attention so far?
I watched "Murphy Brown" last night on CBS. I was a fan of the former series, and it was fun to see the old gang (RIP Eldin). But they aren't even pretending to appeal to a broad fan base. It was very anti-Trump. Hillary Clinton even made an appearance. I thought it was hilarious and fun, but I am a part of the targeted audience. I will not be recommending this to any of my family members.
I also watched "A Million Little Things" on ABC. It is the sort of show that should really bug me, but I'm intrigued enough to watch it again. And I keep thinking about the moments that tugged at my heart. But if I have to hear "everything happens for a reason" too many more times, I may change my mind.
