Get the crows out for the korver haters

The ****ing shots I'm talking about were wide ****ing open.

Shut the **** up if you don't remember the situation I'm talking about.

Shut the **** up!

Shut your stupid *** mouth.

You don't even know why I feel the way i do.

You have no idea the significance of his refusal to take GOOD shots when his team needed those shots.

So just stop ****ing talking to me about this if you don't know the situation.

That escalated quickly. And I like aggressive BP.

Do I want the Jazz to win a championship in 2019?

**** yes, more than anything.

Did I want the Jazz to win a championship in 2010?

**** yes, more than anything!

Korver ****ed us hard in 2010. Hard. For his own benefit. At our expense.

He has a long *** way to go to earn my approval. LONG.

I loved Korver. Loved him.

He did not use his talents to win games the Jazz needed to get home court in the first round of the playoffs. It was selfish and cost this franchise A LOT.

I don't question his ability. I question his willingness to use that ability for the benefit of the Jazz if it costs him, personally, anything at all.
To be fair, he probably isn't the exact same dude today that he was then.

He can redeem himself.

Here's how:

Jazz are in the finals. Korver is currently sitting with a finals record of best 3pt% for anyone ever, but by only one shot. Jazz are 2pts down with 15s to go, Korver gets the ball for a corner 3... and takes the shot.

That's it. I don't care if it goes in or not. I'll forgive him.

I, someone who has made ample mistakes, would like to officially place my trust in Kyle Korver to do the right thing in this very likely situation. I think it will happen after an offensive rebound, in game six, with the Jazz down 3 games to 2. He will make the shot and the Jazz will win the game, and then win game 7 comfortably.

Well, it could be argued Burks had an equally - if not more impressive - stat line now that he's been freed in Cleveland. So right now the trade looks very good for both teams. IMO, 2nds are pretty much garbage picks. Neto has been Lindsey's only find in the 2nd; not a very good track record.

And BTW, I'm not a Korver hater. I praised the trade.
I like Burks, but 4-11 is pretty awful. He did get to the line 8 times which does negate some of that.

Still, Korver's line was much more impressive IMO.

The most notable three I remember Korver passing up was in the playoffs against the Lakers his first year, I believe it was coming down to a final shot, he had an open three on the right wing but passed it off to Memo closer to the corner who missed the three.

Dude is a stud. Get those crows out for the haters that whined about trading garbage Burks for him. Now we just need a trade partner for exum

Shad showing some optimism! Yeah buddy!

Mate I think you could probably raise the bar a little higher with your conditions to forgive him ...

No.

What he did was about as low a thing as I've ever seen in the NBA. It was not excusable and I will not forgive it. The fact that I was a huge Korver fan makes it 100x worse.
Two things to keep in mind:
1) We would not have been in position to fight for home court had it not been for Korver.
2) My memory is that Korver passed on open looks maybe 4 or 5 times in total, sort of like what Ingles has done so far this season when he is not feeling it.

And we missed out on home court because Boozer refused to play hurt while closing out the season, not because Korver passed on a few open looks.

Korver is a good addition if it's not at the cost of Burks+2 picks

Do you walk on the car dealer lot and declare that you like this BMW but not if you have to pay anything for it?

There should be a fine gap between paying too much and not paying anything at all. you probably wouldn't see anyone complaining if it was Niang or Allen that we sent over to Cleveland.

We paid the nba equivalent of a 20% off coupon at bed bath and beyond and a 7/11 free slurpee card with 8/10 holes punched.

I’d be pissed if it was Allen.

Second rounders ain’t all that... especially how we use em... put I mean if we didn’t have that extra second round pick last year we never would have been able to move up 2 spots so we could select The Great Tony Bradley over that bust josh hart.
