What's new

2020 Vintage 80’s 90’s draft winner changes my picture.

Chris Mullin

Isiah Thomas
Chris Mullin
Larry Bird
Charles Barkley

Gah damn this team nasty
Almost every position is lacking in something very important, Size and or athleticism. A lot of badassery but still if you are small and non athletic at almost every position its going to be tough sledding.

Tryong to not pay attention to the other teams make ups as much as possible. Will be interesting to see the final lineups.

You mean how the jazz of the 90’s basically have the least amount of size and athleticism but those were the best teams. Don’t be an idiot. You don’t know what your talking about.

Both guys are late 90’s guys, so their work was limited - but solid (similar to Tim Duncan.)

SG: Kobe Bryant

By 2000, Kobe had already been to the All Star game twice (including going toe to toe with MJ in the 98’ game) and was averaging 4.9 rebounds per game, 6.3 rebounds per game, 1.6 steals per game and 22.5 points per game. He was a legit star, even though he was one of the youngest players in the league. He and Shaq would go on to become one of the NBA’s most successful pairings.

I mean, I guess?

Where I'm small though I'm super athletic and super skilled and where I'm unathletic I'm big and super skilled.

I may have read wrong, but the 99-00 season is not included. 98-99 is the cutoff.

The Kobe pick is awful imo, especially if people view this as an average of their work and not just a single season peak.

SF: Vince Carter

‘98 Rookie if the year - hit the ground running his first two seasons in the NBA. Averaged 5.7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 18 points per game as a rookie. . . then followed that up with an All-Star appearance and improved numbers(5.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 25.7 points per game) as a Sophomore.

But only his rookie year was in the 90's.... (and it was the lockout year, so not even a full season)
