Following potential 2012 draftees

Teague sucks in the halfcourt. Is essentially useless. Marshall stayed in front of him the whole game and helped force a lot of turnovers. Marshall made a clutch,cross-court pass from the halfcourt line to Hairston for a corner3 that made it a one score game.

Do you see Marshall as an elite level NBA starter after seeing this game?

He still has a lot to work on. It's not unheard of for a player to improve his shooting dramatically over the course of their college career. I like that Roy Williams challenged him to take more shots this game and he responded. He showed that he can hit shots if teams disregard him, which is a step in the right direction.

I guess he will never be elite because he can't do everything, but he can be pretty good.

Jeremy Lamb at 4? Uggh, he isn't even the best SG that may enter the draft. Maybe not even the 2nd or 3rd best.

Actually, I had him all the way down at 14 .. in my original mock.

Here are my top 22 players, PKM's mock.

1. Andre Drummond
2. Anthony Davis
3. Harrison Barnes
4. Kidd-Gilchrist
5. Quincy Miller
6. Brad Beal
7. Jarred Sullinger
8. Perry Jones
9. James McAdoo
10. Terrence Jones
11. Marquis Teague
12. Thomas Robinson
13. Austin Rivers
14. Jeremy Lamb
15. John Henson
16. Patric Young
17. Tyler Zeller
18. Festus Ezeli
19. Myck Kabongo
20. Tony Wroten, jr
21. Kendall Marshall
22. John Jenkins

By the way, I checked on Scott Machado's last game.
He stunk it up shooting, but had 7 assists.
I think I'll give him a month or so before I check back in, I guess I can give him a pass on a bad shooting night if he picks it up again.

Thanks for the update Spazz.

Funny that Wroten leads in ppg and rebounding, but also STINKS IT UP shooting and has the most TO's. Sounds like a ballhog??
Marshall leads in assists AND fewest turnovers.

Man, it's a mess at PG this year ... and I'm TELLING you, it's WORSE next year. I'd have to rate these guys, currently, as 1) Marshall, 2) Teague, 3) Kabongo, 4) Wroten .. but I'm not the least bit sold on any of them.

Arnett Moultrie had 21 points and 13 rebounds against a pretty good West Virginia front line. If we have a 2nd round pick, and this guy slips to the 2nd round we must get him. Beast on the boards, athletic, 6'11, shoots from deep, and hustles. Also an ace from the FT line, shooting 89% on the year (he averages 6 attempts a game).

Maybe I'm being overly critical...but I'm glad we didn't get Harrison Barnes last year. I know that Kidd-Gilchrist is a superb defender, but Barnes simply cannot take people off the dribble. I know I'm the local Duke fan, and viewed as a homer, but right now I just see him as a spot-up shooter. Granted I've watched like 2 games of his this year, so maybe some of you guys who have seen him more can correct me if I'm wrong.

/BTW, Props to Cy Torbin and PKM for proving me wrong about Teague blowing up Marshall. I was wrong. You will be repped accordingly.

Agreed about Barnes. He takes way too many difficult shots. I think he can get to the rim better, he just settles for his pull ups. He looks like a 6th or 7th overall pick to me right now.
