This Hood guy is talented offensively. Maybe not as much a go-getter at the defensive end. His spin move was a bit Kobe-esque.

Freshman. Very good player and highly regarded in last year's class (around 15th, I think). He's not on many people's radar, yet. He will not on K-G.

Why you mad? Hood and K-G have almost similar stats. K-G rebounds better but Hood has better % and TO's the ball over way less, while getting more assist.
Also, Hood's 19 and 10 came against lower competition, but two starters were out that game (forcing him to play the entire 40 minutes) and he played a big role in securing what was way too close of a game. We will be able to compare them more closely when they enter SEC play and Hood is still bossing.

In all seriousness, I like Hood and you like K-G. I never talk trash about Hood, don't need to, he's a good player. I'm just playing the trash-talking game. So .. on that note.
MSU has not played any team this year in the top 15. In the games against ranked teams (#16 and #18) Hood had 9pts and 10pts as well as 2 and 3 boards. Don't bother looking up how Gillie does against top competition (hint: it won't help your case).
Also, I'd be a little concerned that Hood has only had ONE game that he got to the line for more than 2 FT's. Then again, when you're shooting it at 53% from the charity stripe, your teammates may be glad you don't shoot more of them.

So .. my advice is to draw attention to MSU's Moultrie. He's the real deal, a veteran, and I am expecting a huge game from him against UK (even though he hasn't sniffed a frontcourt like ours this year). Pimp him .. because Hood can't hold Gilchrist's jock.
