"There is belief around the league Thibodeau would prefer to give up Barrett in a deal than shooting guard Quentin Grimes"

They have one good year and it goes to they damn heads. They are much closer to the team they were last year than the team they were in the empty arenas year.Knicks fans are a special breed, at least on Twitter. Quite literally, they don't seem to know how to read (nearly every single one of them misread a graphic showing a list of available Knicks assets as Ainge demands), don't believe they should have to give up value for an arguably top 20 player, consistently think every one of their young players is better than said Top 20 player, but want Rose to the close the deal as soon as possible.
The myopia is bordering on Laker fan levels of insufferability.
Ainge is an innovative mfer. Can’t get a deal done you like in the nba then look to other leagues… heard he may trade Don for the entire Oakland As franchise… beat that deal Knicks!0 pressure, probably not, but probably 0 urgency to get a deal before the season starts or very minimal if the deal isn’t what they want.
If the report is correct that the 49ers had some offers they liked the deal might be done by now if the jazz felt urgency or pressure to trade Don.
Geez Louise you guys. It was a mistake. Lol this is the most excited I’ve ever been for a 49ers season, they had been on my mind, I was walking into work typing that on my phone, it’s hard for me to type and walk. In fairness.. Mitchell would be pretty excited to play for the Mets. Getting a few frps in another sport would certainly be innovative.Geez Louise you guys. It was a mistake. I think it’s smart… Ainge is dealing with Crypto while others are still bartering goods and servicesGeez Louise you guys. It was a mistake. Thy pontification is inference to the best explanation, which, in the absence of more telling, robust evidence, is acceptable. As an empiricist, I generally call for a harkening back to experience. I reject inflationary metaphysics, the violation of Okham’s Razor, especially when it concerns the Jazz. Hypothetical entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity, because those entities will also require explanations. Yet all of us in Edinburg await the sound trades of Daniel Ainge. Here's a few things, that in a vacuum, would make me scratch my head at, but when put together make me believe that a deal is close to being agreed upon. Or perhaps the deal is already agreed upon and we're just waiting until we can include some of the new TWolves players in the deal; and my money would be on the latter. #1) Donovan hasn't said a word about anything, hasn't been seen wearing or doing anything Jazz related on social media (minus the Snow Canyon LLWS shoutout). Just somewhat strange for a team's star player if he thought there was a chance he'd be donning (pun) a Jazz uniform again. #2) RJ Barrett has not signed an extension. #3) Colin Sexton remains in limbo - not sure why this isn't getting more attention. He's by far the best player in the league that's technically up for grabs, even though he's coming off of an injury. A player like that doesn't not get at least a decent offer sheet by now. The fact that he hasn't done anything, and CLE hasn't done anything screams that he's waiting for this domino to fall. And from Sexton's camp perspective this isn't an unknown domino. I think if you're him, or his representation, you know exactly what's happening, or about to happen, otherwise you would have done something else by now.
The Lakers waiting to fill out their team is the other thing in limbo. I believe all will become clear on September 6/7.Here's a few things, that in a vacuum, would make me scratch my head at, but when put together make me believe that a deal is close to being agreed upon.
