2023 NBA Draft Megathread

This is 1000% for clicks. I don’t think Bronny is even a first round prospect.
there is 0% chance he's a top 10 pick on his own merits. the only way he could get drafted that high or close to it is if a team knows or thinks they can get lebron at a discount if they take him. but yeah, no chance he's a legit top 10 prospect. high level d1 basketball is going to eat him alive as a freshman. he's the type of player that could be really good as a 3rd and 4th year college kid, but he will be struggle big time his freshman season.

You know, as much as I want the Jazz to get a chip, I absolutely do NOT want the Jazz to be just a footnote of another franchise LeDouchebag carried to another ring. Let him fizzle out in LA and retire in relative obscurity.
Jazz are signing Lebron in a heartbeat if they draft his Son. But the odds that actually happens, are about 1 in a million since we don't even own a pick next year

It's more likely Bronny James has been underrated due to his father than being overrated now.
my guess is you haven't ever seen him play against top HS competition. as long as you have people saying he's a top 10 pick and he's making McD's AA games, and Hoop Summit teams, etc - he's most definitely NOT underrated. i guess one could argue he's properly rated if they wanted play the Cy role of contrarian, but not sure it's even possible to be underrated as a HS player when you are given those accolades.

On his own merit, Bronny James is likely not worth a FRP.

But if picking him means 1-3 years of a still productive LeBron James - or holding whatever team wants LeBron ransom for his draft rights - he may absolutely be worth a late lotto or mid-first round pick.

I guess we will see. He looks like a 6'3/6'4 combo guard with high level athletic tools who defends and has an all-around game to me.

A lot of mocks have us taking Cason Wallace. Is he someone to get excited about or more of a solid, albeit perhaps somewhat boring, pick?
Boring from the standpoint of likely not really ever being an all-star etc, but very likely he is your starting PG for a decade and a hell of a wing defender.

You could do MUCH worse.

lol. gotta love internet police, detectives, prosecutors, judge and jury while knowing a fraction of the story. people are idiots.
Yup, and of course this is just a lawyer's statement, but interesting that it frames it as the Jeep pulling up on Brandon's car in a suspicious way.

it is just his lawyers statement and the lawyer is obviously biased, but the key statements are the final two paragraphs which are not in dispute - it's all on video and Miller has obviously been questioned and interviewed multiple times by police, they have seen the video, and yet zero charges. bottom line, Miller brought a guy his own gun when he asked him to bring it him. the fact that gun was used to kill a person is tragic and looks horrible in hindsight, but it's not his fault.

Also boring because watching him with that boring *** Kentucky team offends my senses.

He will be a fun boring player I think.
