2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I think Black is great option at #9, but I don't think he is worth the cost of trading up to get him and I am not entirely sure we cannot get someone just as good at #9 even if he is gone. Someone has to be there among Walker, Cam, Ausar, and Hendrix if Black is off the board. I'd like any of them.
I would too but there are a couple of those guys I like Black more than. I would understand it either way. I would rather trade up for our guy than sit and take the leftovers though. If our guy is Black, Hendricks, Jarace, Ausar or Cam I’m all for trading up for them if it’s necessary.

I'm in the "move up if the price is reasonable" camp. I am fine with where we are sitting right now. I think the most bang for our buck might be in moving up from 16 or 28. If trading up costs one future pick I might do it... at this point I'm not going overboard and will let the draft come to me a bit.

I think my semi-realistic dream drafts are to land Hendricks or Ausar at #9 and then Bufkin at #16 or Black at #9 and Miller at #16.

Tony Jones smugly saying nothing is a tradition.
He has at least said the length and athleticism thing multiple times... I doubt any reporters know where we stand on any draft prospect... we likely playing it closer to the vest than normal.

The only team in this draft or any draft that aint hiding it's intentions, or blowing smoke aout who tops their board, is the team sitting at 1.
These mock drafts that go off of team connected rumors from media clowns in the scouting circles or chatter about team needs are just throwing darts

We could move up for Scoot and he’d be the first to say he was their target all along, he knew they loved him, etc. even though he’s nothing special lengthwise. Saying NBA teams like bigger bodies and athleticism is such a nothing comment from an insider.

I’m being an *** because I don’t really like his online persona. He tends to annoy me and his insider stuff often seems very contrived and hindsighty. If he actually knows anything, he never shares it until after it’s done. Not a big deal though.

There's a lot of buzz with the pelicans offering zion for the number 2 pick this year. Thoughts? They want scoot. I wouldn't do it if I were the hornets. That dude barely plays at all

I'd do it 100000000% if I'm both sides.

Nola just needs to get rid of the Zion stench and Charlotte needs a miracle to get rid of the stench of their franchise. Maybe a change of scenery would help Zion get his priorities straight.
