Yeah, but if we don't get our own pick ,we can trade for a pick, even in the 20's. Burke is short, but I think he could be a pretty good PG.
I'm not promoting the idea and I'm not saying whoever gets the #1 pick is likely to do it. I just simply want to ask the question. Do you think whoever gets the #1 pick would ever consider the #9, #13, Jefferson and Kanter for it? I personally think they'd consider it for a few minutes and ultimately decline. Would you do it if you were KOC? I would. Yes, we'd still be weak at the 1 and 3 but a Davis/Favors 4/5 with Millsap off the bench moving forward would be silly and any of Hayward's shortcomings (length) at the 3 would be masked with that defensive frontcourt. I also think attracting free agents would become easier.

Yup. Seems pretty obvious. Davis is actually a better comparison than Drummond, imo.
I don't think anyone gives up Davis unless an established star is involved. Having said that, I think we'd be more than happy with #9 and #13 to complete our young core.
If we can 'buy' a late first or early second to get Burke or Wroten, I'm on board!
I would take a serious look at Burke in the 2nd round if DMiller is off the board.

I'm almost positive Burke will be a 1st rounder. He will go before Teague if Teague enters.
Also imagine the hilarity that would ensue when announcers get Burks and Burke confused.
I watched Burke play all season at Michigan if you have any questions about him. I'm really disappointed that he is leaving early - he could have used one more year to get a little stronger and more experience and I think the team next year would have at least been top 8 potential with McGary and Glenn Robinson III coming in to play.
That being said, he is smart, has an amazing feel for the game, is aggressive, has a shot, and plays like a point guard......plus he is an extremely hard worker. I know PKM hates comparisons but I have said he will at least be as good as Eric Maynor and at very best Kevin Johnson. Guy is a stud and size is the only thing he has going against him.
Would love the Jazz to get him, but not higher than 20.
Maynor was pretty unathletic both in speed and hops, how would you compare his athleticism to Maynor's?
WWW has been very helpful to UK.

Is Burke pass first or shoot first?
