Following potential 2012 draftees

Agreed, but trading away a 19 year old center is still really risky. The prospect of trading Kanter away and getting guys like Terrance Jones and Rivers doesn't bother me, it just bothers me when you throw in Millsap (of course we would be getting a player back to match salary) also.

He doesn't have the hops. That's fine. But he also doesn't have the size or length of Bynum or Marc Gasol neither. I'm not sure he's that much of a lock as our future Center that he's completely untouchable.

I really like Kanter .. but we can't get caught up in where 'x' player was selected. It's all about winning and not justifying. Additionally, it's about contracts ($ and term). We fans over-simplify it all, much too often.

I don't disagree, but as of right now, and even for quite a while after the draft, I don't think there's any way you can say, "well, but it's Rivers and X." Anybody taken at that point at the draft is a gamble, at least for now. I have no confidence that a "stud" will be there -- a nice piece, perhaps, but not a key element in contending elite status. But that's just my opinion.

I would love to see the hate Scola would get as a player on the board here. It would overtake Jefferson and overtake the current amount of Scola hate. The guy sucks and is heavily declining.

This is how I feel.

I'm even of the supposed Kanter "haters". I'm still not ready to give up on him yet.

I agree to a certain extent...

I guess KOC was just exploring his options.

Damn, I hope Kanter doesn't peruse this forum.. He seems really sensitive...

Enes: If you're reading this. I'm not giving up on you yet bro!!

Oh yeah, also spoke with my Suns guy and he said there has been no talks, at all, between Nash' camp and the Jazz. Said he agrees he could see it working, but nothing of substance at this point.

List of NJ combine guys. Sadly mostly 2nd rounders, though Numberica's latest Marquette man crush Jae Crowder will be there.

Other potential 1st rounders include:
JaMychal Green
Evan Fournier

And that is probably it.

Some of my notables inlcude:
Dee Bost
Renardo Sidney
Scott Machado
Kyle O'Quinn
Justin Hamilton (7' white guy from Utah)
Drew Gordon
Mindaugas Kupsas (7' foot Lithuanian because Im still mad we didn't get Jonas)

I could write a book on this. I'll refrain.

Give me 5 guys that can all handle the ball, make the pass, crash the boards, shoot it, and defend .. please .. and make them as tall as possible. The idea is get over height and look for guys that can do it all .. then height. So much more to add, but ...

Royce White seems like nearly a perfect fit for your super team. His shooting leaves something to be desired and he needs to bd motivated for defense, but he could be a perfect player for your dream scenario.
