OKC looks like a mentally tougher team to me, and I think they still have a good chance of winning the series, but in no way can you count Miami out.

It's "missed calls" like that last one that really hurt the league's credibility and force interviewers to question Stern. I'm not saying that games are fixed. But you cannot tell me that all 3 refs "missed" that last one. Lebron CLEARLY hacked Durant. It wasn't even close. Especially when I see "lesser" defenders being called for far less. You can't tell me that if it had been Hayward or Bell defending that the refs wouldn't have blown the whistle. Obviously they would have. We've seen them called for far less.

A foul is a foul. I don't care who it is. MJ, Kobe, Lebron.... It's a foul. Call it.

It just makes you wonder if the refs swallowed their whistles in order to protect one of the league's biggest superstars... While doing their part in extending this series...

Miami isn't going to go down quietly. But I have a hard time believing that OKC will continue to shoot like crap, start out slow, and get nothing offensively from their frontcourt. Ibaka, though he isn't known for his scoring, will eventually help them with either tip ins or baseline jumpers (I've seen a ton more Collison this series than I would have ever expected).

I still think that OKC is gonna win this thing. Besides, Miami has no home court advantage since their fans suck. Both LA and Miami have no noise in their arenas.

The Heat are 8-2 at home in the playoffs. The Thunder are 9-1. Not much difference there. The Heat's playoff home record is better than the Thunder's playoff road record of 4-3. The Thunder lost a game to the Lakers in LA in the quiet Staples Center. I think the series will go back to OKC with Miami holding a 3-2 lead.

I absolutely believe the league sometimes manipulates games by trying to swing momentum, but I don't believe for a second that they are favoring Miami or any one team in particular, so much as trying to add to the drama by making games closer, and maybe stretching a series out to make more money. Keep in mind that they fouled out Lebron in Boston on a foul that shouldn't have been called(IMO), and they also fouled out Pierce before that, also on an iffy call. People don't want to see these games decided by the refs putting all the best players on the bench. Personally, I really don't care which team is involved, I just don't want to see the refs affect the game near as much as they do.

I thought Battier would play well. I think I heard that in previous 1-1 series in a 2-3-2 format, the home team has only won game 3, 3 out of 12 times, and whoever won game 3 won the entire series 11 of 12 times. Both of these stats surprise me. Can anyone confirm these stats?

Ya dude, the nba is totally rigging games. That why they made sure the Jazz and Spurs series was so close. Good point freak.

First off, there's a reason why I didn't use words like fix or rig. There is a difference, and yes, the NBA does manipulate games at times. I guess you think because it doesn't happen in every single game, that it never happens. There are probably multiple reasons why it happens, but I think the simplest way to help you understand is a make-up call. I'm pretty sure even you know what that is. Either way, anyone who watches a fair amount of NBA games has probably noticed a sequence when the refs swallow the whistles at one end, several plays in a row, while making touchy calls at the other. Like I said, it may just be the fact that the refs think one team is getting away with more than the other. If it helps you to just think of it as several make-up calls in a row, then great, but it does happen.

There is no such thing as a make up call.

Also there is no way the nba teaching any kind of way of manipulating games. Refs are human and they make mistakes, and they might ref a certain way individually. But no way is there an organized effort to control outcomes or entertainment value.

Years ago there might have been a chance that happened. But not nowadays. I think officiating is actually pretty good now. Especially for how hard it is.

My suggestion to you is to grow up and stop blaming the Jazz not winning on the refs.

I read no further since you obviously have a brain no larger than a peanut.

No shock that the shocker agrees with you freak. Who clearly has the maturity of a 15 year old.

And also shocker I know who you really are. I was informed of this duplicate account. Looks like your friends arent really your friends after all.

Is this a trick question?

Yeah, you're probably right. Instead of blaming the refs, I should probably blame everyone else on the planet for being out to get me.

Thanks for helpin' me see the light.

POS rep given.

When I say POS rep, I actually mean P.O.S. rep.

Yes, the mods and a dozen or so people on here, are everyone on the planet.

You are over exagerating more than anyone I have ever ever seen. Ever.

Seriously, stop trying to flip it. You know I am right. You know you are being childish.

Waaayyyy too many missed FTs and offensive rebounds given up.

OKC seems rattled to me. Ibaka and Harden seem lost. Which stinks, because those 2 were huge reasons why they stopped that machine known as San Antonio.
