No way any teams give him near that much money.
3 to 3.5 million is his ceiling of value.
I don't think people were negative of him. I just don't think people thought of him as being all that relevant. But everyone was appreciative of his effort and work he didI liked Demare's the first game I saw him play; no idea why others were negative on him.

Don't be too hasty. I thought the same about Matthews, and after he received the offer sheet from Portland I didn't want us to match as I figured he had maxed out his potential, and thought that was way too much money for Matthews, so I wouldn't be surprised if someon offers him Matthews type of money. If we can resign him for 3.5million great, but if it comes down to it, trade Marvin for an expiring and pay Carroll 5 million a year. I think Marvin is getting paid 8 million for his defense alone, because he's giving the jazz next to nothing on offense, so the way I see it Carroll at 5 million is a bargain.
