Following potential 2013 draftees

I plead with all of you to not be short sighted for this upcoming draft. Take BPA and see what kind of a steal the Jazz can get in the second round.

Don't get too desperate for a PG.

Does anyone have any Youtube video of Porter on offense? I've only seen him once and want to get a better feel for how he scores.

What about Isaiah Canaan? havent heard much talk about him, Would he be a good 2nd round pick?

Just saw a highlight video on this kid, and looks like an interesting prospect. He seems to dribble very low to the ground and seems very quick with some great ball handling skills. I have a feeling he will go between 20 to 30th pick in the draft, and from what I saw it looks like he shoots 48% from 3 on 6.5 attempts. If true that's damn good.

PKM, was wondering what you think of him?

Hey Guys!!

I just had a Epiphany today when I was reading Chad Ford's Big Board, listing Burke at #15 and Robinson III at #22. With the way GSW are sliding and our home court stretch coming up, we could very well be picking at around those numbers, with the GSW pick at #15 and our own pick at #22 respectively.

So why not pick Burke at #15 and Robinson III at #22? They fill our needs at PG and SF, and they'll be BPA according to Ford's ranking at least (DX had them at #17 and #20), so we're not reaching in any way shape or form. Plus they're already teammates, so they would already have that chemistry thing going.

Also in terms of risk/reward thing, we're going for a sure thing in Burke (high assists, low TO's, can shoot 3's) and a high-risk product in Robinson who seems to have great potential. So from an investment portfolio POV we're spreading the risk, not putting all our eggs in 1 basket.

What do you guys think?

Knowing what we know now? I'd say, #2 and #3: Noel, Favors, Kanter, Shabazz, McLemore...

But I think scouts would bunch Kanter in with Austin, Zeller and Len, meaning Kanter might be in the 5 - 8 range.

Knowing what we know now, Kanter and Favors would be 1 and 2 because anyone of the guys coming out this year could be busts. If I was a gm and had to choose its Kanter over Noel all day. Who knows what Noel will be able to do.

Wow.. no love for Robinson III around here whatsoever...

:(

I actually like him.... a lot. If he is there at one of our picks the Jazz definitely have to take a long hard look at taking him. Kelly Olynyk is another guy the Jazz could take with one of their picks to potentially be a 3rd big man. A legit 7'0 footer and weighs about 245 lbs, is averaging 17.7 PPG on the 5th best team in the nation.

Thank you!!! Finally some love!!! I just think at the 22th pick it's worth the risk. He's athletic. Can shoot it. Can finish it. He's young. Worth a gamble I reckon.
