Following potential 2013 draftees

I don't really like the comp.. but that's what I usually say. I like McCollum.. not that I don't disagree with those that are pointing out weaknesses.... which is why he's not being mocked top10.

Oh I don't think there's any comparison between Matthews and Bullock, they're completely different players. I wasn't trying to compare them, I was just pointing out that Bullock had better physical skills. I think Matthews is the better player by far.

Yeah, but Austin has more of a position than Jones does/did.

I know you'll call me a hater (KNOW it), but they both had a bad college experience and a coach that didn't help them exploit a natural position. WTF was Drew doing with Austin this year?????? Perry Jones?? Holy **** I swear any of us here would see PJIII was a PF.. not a SF.. not a center... it wastes the dev't and confidence of these young men.

They're all interested in a gimmick.

Oh, and how anybody can actually think that McGary is a better player than Zeller is beyond me. Zeller has actual post skills, McGary is essentially just a hustle player at this point. I mean, I don't even like Zeller that much...but he's far better than McGary.

Seeing as the last 3 top prospects (Miller, Austin, Jones) have all under performed, I would consider that fairly sufficient evidence that Baylor (Drew) is not a good place to go to develop yourself into a NBA player.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why players continue to play for Scott Drew.

Guess the money talks.

I feel like you're hitting on me.

I can see the reasoning behind it. Both will be role players in the NBA. McGary already knows how to be an effective role player, so therefore his transition may be easier.

Zeller will have to go from being #1 option, to a role player, and that transition may be harder for him.

Dang.. I'm actually enjoying this thread right now.

Zeller would be a role player that can actually be an option on offense though. If he sets up down low, he has a myriad of moves that he can go to. McGary has 3 moves in his arsenal: 1) wide open jump shot provided by teammate, 2) dunk/layup off of offensive rebound, and 3) dunk/layup off of a pass provided by teammate. That's it. Zeller will be a far more consistent and reliable player.
