Following potential 2013 draftees

anyone else thinking that Charlotte is putting together a pretty decent team?

if the draft oladipo. they will have mkg and oladipo both high motor hard working guys.

kemba walker is a decent pg. biyombo is a good interior defender that could get a lot better.

Jeff Taylor a great role player coming in off the bench. decent shooter that is athletic. also a hard worker.

They dropped 2 spots in the draft on lottery night which really sucks for them. Oladipo is nice, but Mclemore is a better fit for their anemic scoring and they probably miss out on him.
Their 2016 1st rounder also goes to the Bulls unprotected, so that could really hurt them depending on how good of a draft that one is. I wouldn't want to be a fan.

The '16 draft is looking to be an average to decent draft.

'14 - Epic
'15 - Relatively weak
'16 - Average
'17 - awesome

As would I.. even tho he's a good kid.

It's a sad sad story TBH witchu... He's not big enough to play C in the NBA, they're now calling him a possible stretch 4. But he never had any experience doing that consistently at Indiana...

I still think he'll be the Gordon Hayward of SFs... good but not great.

He'll never play sf.

Anyone know if Schroeder is gonna be coming over right away next season or if he's locked into a contract?

I really think Charlotte should go with Bennett here.

They need a 4 man who could really score and Bennett can score from just about anywhere on the court. He can play next to 7 foot Mullens, that's a great pairing for Bennett as he can roam the court while Mullens plays the pivot. Both guys can really score. Biyombo comes off the bench in a defensive role.

Unfortunately MKG won't be more than a defensive wing for the next 3 years, so next year they really need a scoring wing (Wiggins, Jabari)

I haven't heard anything that would indicate that he's not coming over right away. He has stated he wants to play for the Jazz because we sees it as an opportunity to get immediate playing time. I don't think he would care as much about that if he wasn't planning on playing in the NBA this upcoming season.

I'd still like to see Adams spanked his *** though.

Of course you do.

Hey. Being from Germany I was interested how you guys evaluate Schröder and followed your discussion the past weeks. I can confirm that he has a valid contract for another year in Braunschweig, Germany. But his agent has publicly stated the contract contains a buyout clause. The way he talks suggests he is confident that the amount will be paid by the NBA franchise drafting him. I suppose it will be about 250k, which is an amount that went public in connection with other NBA prospects. Plus the earlier the team brings him over, the faster he will acclimate to the american culture.
His german team is also kind of annoyed by his antics(and even more his agents, who might be even more dumb than you guys think Corbin is)and seems to be interested in cashing in a moderate "education fee".
If you have some more questions about Schröder, I'd be pleased to answer them. Otherwise I'll silently follow your entertaining NBA/College chatter from time to time.
