Following potential 2013 draftees

is he a much better fit than Siva??? im starting to think most jazzfanz would say that, especially if Isaiah Thomas is being spoken about in exchange for a first, i had to bring up Pierre

where do you Rate Joe Jackson and Larkin in comparison with them?

i really like Joe Jackson, hed be great on the jazz

I like Joe Jackson, Pierre, and Larkin pretty similarly.. with Siva just behind them. I don't really care for any of them much, though.

None of the PGs of this draft are all that impressive. Schroeder has potential, but it may be a couple years before we see too much of it. The strength of this draft (using the word strength a bit loosely) is really the bigs and the shooting guards.

Reggie Bullock every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I like Bullock over KCP, Crabbe, Snell, and all these other jokers that call themselves wings in the NBA draft, Otto Porter and Shabazz Mohammed are maybe the only other good wings in this draft. Bullock was always defending the other teams top scorer this last couple seasons. Bullock has what I call the Jazz artichoke in their meal because of his defense, they love their artichokes in any dish so every player in this draft that can defend is the ingredient they look for most but if the entree has mushrooms in it like for instance if the player doesn't rebound well for his position then they won't touch that player or select that dish. So what Locke was saying is there is a lot of those players in this draft that do some things really well and there is more in this draft of really good role players, so you will see teams not go after a player because he doesn't do something that team like so like an entree they will just not order it. That's why we see so many mock drafts all over the place with players.

But I thought about it and I think teams do that every draft but more so in this one because there is so much unknown in this draft.

Is Bullock that good of a defender? From what I remember he was pretty average. Also he is small for the SF position with an 8'6" wingspan. Notably Snell's standing reach is 8'9.5". Also surprisingly Snell's lane agility time was a full second faster. Though his coach saying "he needs to overcome how hard he plays- isn't good."

Took my mock draft around 10-12 NBA teams today to get feedback and exchange info. Heard a lot of very interesting stuff. Big changes coming.

Givony is going to update DX Mock Draft tomorrow.

Isaiah Canaan workout vid and interview. Seems like a good kid.

6'0" in shoes. 40" max vertical. Solid looking athlete. Good shooter. Nice pick in the 2nd round.

^^ no thanks(Cannan). brandon jennings is a chucker beyond saving, but yall want this kid to run PG..

i love this time of year... the seasons are changing... playoff basketball...

and members of basketball forums defensing their knowledge of individual players by downplaying the strength of the whole draft class, sounds familiar(is there an echo in here?), just like my old knicks forums, except not in ebonics... all is well, my job is done here. (last post in this thread til

also to finish up the Joe Jackson, Peyton Siva, Larkin, and Pierre Jackson... all i gotta say is i prefer

Siva is being underrated by this board, which isnt a suprise because the player he totally outmatched in the biggest game of the year (trey burke) is overrated, some here would consider him at 2 if they were magic fans

Norvel Pelle workout vid and interview. I'd like to see him make it in the league for a while. Not sure it would be with the Jazz though.

Tim Hardaway scouting vid and interview. Legit slasher and spot-up shooter. I still think he could sneak into the first round. Personally, I would probably take him over Allen Crabbe.

Larkin reportedly has a promise from the Bucks at #15, and he just declined a workout invitation from the Knicks.

Maybe he was sucking it in the workouts and his agent decided to shut him down before more teams discovered it.....

All the games that are played before the draft suck. Mostly because everyone is playing everyone else. Truth is the first casualty of every offseason.

Not really Jazz related but gives an idea of what teams are offering for a pick close to the Jazz's 21st.

Emiliano Carchia @SportandoBasketKings offer Isaiah Thomas to Cleveland in exchange of the 19th pick sportando.net/eng/usa/nba/56…

Would Jazzfanz trade #21 for Isaiah Thomas? I wouldn't.

This doesn't surprise me. Picks in the middle of the first round this year are valuable. A team could pick up Glen Rice Jr., Saric, Giannis, Dieng, KCP, Olynyk, Karasev...decent rotation players.

Tough call. I'd be tempted.
