Following potential 2013 draftees

if you see the link i posted, @3:33 he gets an and one, flexes and stops to admire his guns... i had a really hard time watching this guy run his mouth, it distracted me from watching this game normally

anyway

right after that play, corbin put burks on him. and Burks did this exact thing to him, first play..

Yeah, I really like Reggie Bullock but he's only projected late first, right? Maybe it's upside that puts him there but I think he looks really good. Defense and 3 pt shot? Sounds like just what the Jazz need at sf. I'd be happy with him at 21 I think. I like Giannis too but that's because of his upside vs. Bullock's polish. Can't decide.

In the 2nd round take a 3rd big (Iverson?).

Although if Gobert falls to 21 it's hard to not take him. Or Adams, or Zeller, or Plumlee. Lotta decent 3rd bigs this year.

Boy you guys are harsh... Dal has made some great points there and you just threw them in the bin.

Usually, yes I'd say just draft BPA. But in this draft - there isn't a consensus BPA. Just go look at the mocks! It's all over the place!!!

To me there is a band of players from approx. #9 - #24 that have very similar talent level - it's just what you would prefer to eat (as Locke used to say). Do you prefer pasta? How about a burger? How about a rice dish? What if you are a pasta person - but the noodles in the shop next door is very very good. Can you live with eating Noodles for the rest of your life? No right? You'd rather eat pasta. Then back to the draft - can we truly compare Steven Adams and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope? How about KCP and Reggie Bullock? Who would you rather have?

To me there are good things and there at least 1 major flaw in just about every prospect within the #9 - #24 range that the "Draft BPA" strategy needed to be taken with a grain of salt here, and "Draft Positional Need" strategy should be considered where appropriate.

Reggie Bullock every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I like Bullock over KCP, Crabbe, Snell, and all these other jokers that call themselves wings in the NBA draft, Otto Porter and Shabazz Mohammed are maybe the only other good wings in this draft. Bullock was always defending the other teams top scorer this last couple seasons. Bullock has what I call the Jazz artichoke in their meal because of his defense, they love their artichokes in any dish so every player in this draft that can defend is the ingredient they look for most but if the entree has mushrooms in it like for instance if the player doesn't rebound well for his position then they won't touch that player or select that dish. So what Locke was saying is there is a lot of those players in this draft that do some things really well and there is more in this draft of really good role players, so you will see teams not go after a player because he doesn't do something that team like so like an entree they will just not order it. That's why we see so many mock drafts all over the place with players.

But I thought about it and I think teams do that every draft but more so in this one because there is so much unknown in this draft.

I would consider Reggie Bullock at 21. I think teams like Cleveland and Portland our going to be able to get some nice talent at the top of the second round.

Rep'd HARD!!!

Solid Post. I like your style bro. I especially enjoy the highlighted parts. Keep it up.

No way on earth we draft a PF at #14 to have them sit behind Favors and possibly Al/Sap. An open revolt would occur on JF if we passed on Schroder for that garbage.

Yea, Schroeder falls to #16 for the Celtics. I just have a hard time seeing that happening.

Try again..

By the way.. was pretty funny being at a house worth maybe $80, 000 and having 3 Bentley's in the driveway.

is he a much better fit than Siva??? im starting to think most jazzfanz would say that, especially if Isaiah Thomas is being spoken about in exchange for a first, i had to bring up Pierre

where do you Rate Joe Jackson and Larkin in comparison with them?

i really like Joe Jackson, hed be great on the jazz

I believe Joe Jackson is not in the year's draft.

On Siva vs Pierre Jackson- Siva can't really shoot. Jackson is an okay shooter. Siva is a little bigger and a better athlete. Both are good on the ball defenders. I believe Siva is a slightly better playmaker. All in all I would rather have Jackson but I prefer bigger PG's so I really don't want any of the tiny PG's.
