Jazz FA rumors

NBA Sources Say ‏@NBA_Sources_Say 1m

#NBA Sources say Rip Hamilton will be a #freeagent. #Bulls will waive him rather than guarantee his $5 million salary for next season

Mid-level pickup maybe?

Yea 3 years ago but Hamilton is a shell of the player he use to be. So NO!

He's gone..

Wojnarowski: Spurs, Tiago Splitter agree to 4 year, $36 million deal

I guess big men are in demand... Seems to explain why they're really going after Millsap...

Kanter and Favors can both play the PF/C so I don't know what the big deal is. I don't see both guys being centers only so the Jazz have to bring in a PF. The best position for Kanter is PF in my opinion. For Favors it depends on the match up but I think he is better suited for center than Kanter but I consider him more of a PF too. Isn't his why the Jazz drafted Gobert because they needed a center.

I am for playing the young guys and allowing them to learn and grow as they play. Bringing back Millsap only slows the process down for the big threes Favor, Kanter and Gobert. If Gobert isn't ready for any minutes then find a cheap PF to play and Kanter and Favors can get minutes at center.

I think you're missing the point... we're still missing a third big for this season at least. Gobert won't be ready (but he can be in 2 years time). Evans isn't 3rd big material.

At least if we get Millsap for this year, we can always trade him away in 2 years time when Gobert is ready. We have the money. We have the cap space. We have to spend it regardless.

That is good value right there (42% 3 point shooting.) If the Jazz can grab a deal like that, they should take it. I wonder if there is going to be a marked price difference between bigs and guards.

So, looks like Pelicans are offering Tyreke Evans 4 years 48 million, so that would be a "NO" to my question. Make the 9.5 million per year offer to Sap, sign Foye and Carroll, thrift the remaining roster, then shut it down. Nothing out there worth paying those numbers for.

We still need a back up PG or two bro.

All I will say is that the thing that makes Tyreke interesting is that he can hit hero-ball shots at a decent clip. Combining that with his size, youth, and athleticism makes him both intriguing and also something the Jazz completely lack. But that ship is sailing and I'm fine with that.

The way our team is constructed though, I think we need more of a shooter.... Foye can be had for cheaper & provides a better fit.

Ok, sign Tinsley too. Between Burke, Tinsley, Foye, Burks and with the ability for Hayward to initiate the offense, we are still good enough to miss out on the meat of the lottery. There are going to be some really bad teams. . .

Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler will go to the Suns, Jared Dudley and JJ Redick to the Clippers and 2 2nd-round picks to Bucks, sources tell Y

This might take away the Clips as competition to get OJ Mayo.

Good point. Very good news for us Mayo supporters.

Maybe I'm just relatively more concerned about being honest and intelligent and less about being fashionable than you are. Have fun with your ignorance.

Where have I failed to comprehend? Teach me great *** face piece of ****!

No one interested in Maurice Speights he is another PC/C not sure what his price tag is however but I just like he can play both positions and wouldn't need to start but could if needed.

He's an Al clone on defense and a very poor mans Al on offense.
