Fess roams around a lot and helps out defensively. It seems like he's not often in a good position to rebound.
Sorry bro, I disagree with you. Rebounding is as much about effort (which can be learned) as any basketball skill. (Size helps, too, but Millsap will tell you that it's not essential.) That's why I've been so critical of Jefferson in past games when he has dogged it on boxing out, and that's why Jefferson is doing better; he's putting forth more effort. (BTW, Fes's effort hasn't been good in rebounding, either; part of that is sometimes defending (or help defending) at the expense of rebounding, part of it is overall lack of focus.)Yet? Sorry bro but I disagree. Rebounding, for the most part, is not a learned skill that one improves on much at all with playing time and experience. You either board or you don't. And he doesn't. In fact, he's gotten worse over his career for whatever reason.
everybody played good for the jazz. Chris paul is an assist ball hog. He never gives his teamates a chance to pass. He like demands they shoot it.
+1I hope you get an STD from a toilet seat.
Loved the Elson/Smith dual that was going on. Elson hit him with a few cheap shots, then Smith would run back down the floor and cheap shot him, and then Elson gave him that hard foul and Smith about lost it. That's exactly why I wanted Elson on this team. He's an *******. Love it.
Good solid team game. Big win standing wise. Good night.
Yep, unfortunately restoring order through toughness is a large portion of all that Fes has been doing in the past couple of games. Still is a key part of enabling the second unit to really build momentum--again--but it would be nice to put up some numbers, too. Averaging 6 minutes in the past 4 games is a tough way to get any consistency, though.Nice game by Big Al and especially the second unit for showing some toughness. Fesenko had a bad game but did lay down the law with some hard fouls. Dirty? A little, but it sent a message to the guards and David West the Jazz were done giving easy baskets. I liked it.
Every Jazz man on the court touched the ball on the second of the two plays:I liked when Paul and Big Al finished each others passes with baskets, love to see those two workin together beautifully.
