Burks settles for mid range Js when the drive is taken away. Sometimes it works, just as often it doesn't. His midrange J opens up his drives.
Also that's easier said than done. Teams tend to find out in the first quarter if a guy has a hot hand and if he's cold they dare him to shoot anything but a catch and shoot, while funneling the drives into help defender.
At the same time teams don't want to shoot 3s off the dribble, bring it to the basket, get easy buckets and not compromise the honesty of the defense they are facing.
