Wow! So glad that I traded up to #1 overall. I had the top of my draft board down to 3 main targets. They went exactly 1 - 2 - 3. If I'd stayed at #3, I would have missed out on all of my top guys. Thought that taking Davis at 4 would have been a reach, but I'm so glad that I moved up in hindsight. I'm going to have to wait awhile to make my next pick, but getting the best player in the NBA is worth the price I had to pay.

The big question now is whether or not WC is going to pick, or make another trade.

Strange. I feel 3, even 4, is too high for Davis.
 
I was wondering where Davis would go.

Not sure who I would have gone with at 3, but Davis would have been one of my top choices and may very well have been who I settled on tbh

There's a couple of players that I had ranked fairly equally, but I either was worried about their injury history or how they fit my overall philosophy for team building. Anthony Davis is one of the top 4/5 guys in the league AND he's young enough to fit my plan. I wouldn't have loved it, but I would have taken him at #4 if he would have made it there. Not sure who I'd have taken with how things shook out. Glad I don't have to wonder about that. LeBron James is perfect for my strategy, even if it did cost me a ton to go up and get him.
 
Yeah, I can't really argue against the pick. He's a two-way player and most of the guys in the 2nd tier aren't.

This is exactly the reason I would have picked him also. Plus he's a two-way player.

Griffin at 4 is a surprise to me. I have a theory as to why he picked him, but I'll keep that to myself for now. Don't dislike the player, but he's not the guy I'd have picked at that #4 spot.
