This is a ridiculous notion. DL made the move for Trey. Corbin only endorsed it. There is no way Corbin was calling the shots during a Lindsey draft. We could have had MCW if it wasn't for Corbin.

Good question. But where will it be by the end of the season?
He's not a two guard. Please stop.
If Exum was only 6'2" would you still think that he's primarily a two-guard?
Absolutely. I think he has more point guard attributes than Burks does, but that doesn't make him a point. Because a player can handle and pass doesn't make them a point guard.
Sometimes when a coach decides to start a player, it gives that player confidence because he realizes that the coach has confidence in the player and believes in him.

I like Netos chances. He definitely needs to speed up the release on his jumper doe.
I don't know. How long does that confidence last as he gets shredded on the court?
There was a lot of talk that corbin was the one who pushed for trey.Oh please stop. DL owns that draft. Aren't there enough real reasons to not like Ty?
What besides "point guard attributes" makes someone a point guard. Blow my mind.

I know there are strategies with regard to contracts and playing time, etc. But, there's willingness on his end, he has established report with some of our players, and we have a clear need for creative players. I think the pros of bringing him over now seem to outweigh the cons. But, I suppose another year overseas can't hurt too much.
Anyway, I still laugh at the jazzfanzers who think this is a major issue. Neto is a 8th or 9th guy at best.
you mean if gordon hayward was 6'2" he would be a point guard?
Neto was better than Burke at summer league last year.Trey has got the nod over Raul simply because he was a 3rd pick and not a 47th pick. I have mentioned many times that Neto is our guy at point guard. The Jazz not bringing him to the team now is a mistake on the Jazz part.I think Neto is better than Burke right now. Don't think it's tanking at all to move Burke and bring over Neto.

not true at all.
let's be honest here. right now it's
burke > neto > exum

Btw, the jazz have about 5 or more people involved in thier draft decision making process..... and the coach has a lot of say about it.
Understood. But one guy's *** is on the line for this decision: Lindsay. If he chose to listen to Ty against his own better judgment, it is still on him. Responsibility and accountability. I be Lindsay would agree.
Not if he can always create that much space!! As a point guard your main focuses are setting up plays, court awareness, with precision passing. He seems to me he's not a attack/shoot first point guard (Like Mo Williams) so the fact that he has these kind of weapons are in his favor. Hell I would take a point guard that could even be a solid spot up shooter. The fact that Neto will knock down jumpers when defenders give him enough space makes me happy. A little too happy(queue half-chubby here). Weather or not we get rid of Burke, I want Neto.
