Yeah, it's odd, but I tend to think refs get to keep their jobs based on consistently making the proper calls.I agree with this post.......... however in college football each conference has their own officials. So every team in those conferences have officials representing them. There are some teams that don't belong to a conference (I think about 5 teams or so) and those teams do not have officials representing them.
Not a huge deal.... just kinda odd.
Some refs **** up, and sometimes it does decide the game, but the times a winner and loser is decided by refs are few and far between. Even the odds a referee's decision being the decided factor are miniscule, so you would have to think that a blown call in that scenario would be an even lower percentage.
