Don't think they underestimated us. I mean, we just played them not too long ago and they only won by 1 on their home-court.
I was thinking about this and after that Blazers game I think the Jazz have more opportunity to use the possesions that Enes used on threes more and this will open up the game a lot. And also, defense is hustle. When they see Rudy and Trevor they all labor for it and in that psychology they put more and more effort.Great comeback win for the Jazz. Lets hope losing Kanter will make the offense continue to run smoothly.

This was Exum's 16th game in a row without an FTA.
Of the 246 players in the NBA that are getting minutes, only four get fewer FTA per minute: Frye, Babbitt, Steve Blake, and Jameer Nelson:

And let it be said, so began the Gobert Era! Go Rudy!
What really gets me excited is that we have handled some high quality teams with a group with some serious weak links: Slow Joe, Milsap long term D leaguer, Exum not ready for prime time, Trey 2 for 19 Burke, and until last night Enes "whats a pass" and "tell again how I should guard the, what do you call it, pick and roll?" Kanter.
I wouldn't say Sap is a long-term D-Leaguer. Do you watch his defense? He can guard Damian Lillard. He just needs to learn how to shoot his 3's with more confidence.
He is 27 years old. What's he been doing since college?
Career history
2010–2011 Tulsa 66ers (D-League)
2011–2013 Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League)
2013 Petron Blaze Boosters (Philippines)
2014 Maccabi Ashdod (Israel)
2014 Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League)
2014–2015 Bakersfield Jam (D-League)
2015–present Utah Jazz
Facts is facts. Not saying he cannot play, but he is at best a border line NBA guy. And yet Quin has figured out how to use him effectively. The hope would be that we can upgrade him with someone else and be that much better.
And there might be a reason he does not shoot 3's with more confidence, and it might be related to the fact that he has been a D-leaguer all these years: he can't shoot.
Many are saying he has Tony allen potential. He plays elite level defense. You are stupid.
Quinn took Carroll from nice role player to elite defender who can hit the three. Millsap the next DMC?
After dumping Kanter they probably thought The Jazz were going into tank mode - anyway they looked mighty uninspired to me.

While Millsap is older than DMC which points to "it is proven that he can't shoot", I think that it is just as likely that Millsap has NEVER had the right coaching to get him to his full potential. Because of his D, it is very worth it to let Jazz staff work him a bit and see if it can be improved. Also, Millsap has shown that he is a team contributor in a great way. I think we'll see him as an important cog with the Jazz going forward.
