Seriously don't know what he is good at but I hope he would be like Dwayne Casey to us. Casey sucked being a head coach but was a huge reason why the Mavericks played defense that led to their first championship.
I assume you mean Adam Morrison and Dunleavy.
Favors played one season in the NBA and showed promise. That alone makes him much less likely to be a bust than Kanter.
Oh boy... You almost made me cross the line to root against Kanter this coming season. But you actually see Ty benching Al in favor of him?
Bottom line I think you keep wanting Al traded instead of Millsap because you know Kanter will not start over Al who can play center while Millsap only...
Personally I am not that high on DeAndre Jordan. He got all the tools but his brain is like Samuel Dalembert's. Solid defensive center with low basketball IQ, will be regarded as an overpaid player whom his team will try to unload but can't.
They would have been a truly promising young team...
True but it takes a lot more efforts for Millsap to create space for his shots, since he probably needs to take his man off the dribble or do a spin move (against much taller players too most of the time), whereas Al would only need a couple of dribbles then get off a baby hook (personally hate...
I am going to remember you saying that. Not that I don't hope that would happen cuz if it does happen, that means that Jazz hit a jackpot with that NJ pick, but to say that Kanter is going to be better than Al before he plays an NBA game against serious competition is just absurd.
I can give...
Easy. Back to the basket scoring, man-to-man defense, help defense too (consider Boozer plays no defense), durability, attitude, ability to score against taller players, etc.
seriously i was going to ask the same question about Kanter, but i figured you might be Turkish. can you name me one thing you think Kanter can do better than Jefferson?
Who are you comparing his mid-range jump shot to? Because from what I have seen all season, his mid range jump shot has been above average to good all season.
What?
My bad... I stand corrected. Bogut's reach is 9'2.5" and Noah's is 8'10.5".
Other starting centers whose data is available on DraftExpress:
J McGee - 9'6.5"
Brook Lopez - 9'5"
DeMarcus Cousins - 9'5"
Chris Kaman - 9'2.5"
M Gortat - 9'2"
Andre Bargnani - 9'2"
Nene - 9'1"
Amare...
Do you think Tyson Chandler and Andrew Bogut are undersized at the center spot? Both have standing reach of 9'2"...
Greg Monroe's reach is 9'0.5" and Noah's is 8'11.5".
Favors could play center last season with his length and athleticism, and with the bulk he added, he can definitely play...
I don't understand when people said what you see is what you get after 7 years in the league. Kevin Garnett won his MVP in season 8 when he averaged career highs in points and rebounds. Chris Webber in his season 8 averaged his career high in points and made All-NBA first team. Charles Barkley...
I hope he developed some perimeter skills so that he can get some minutes at the 3. Combined with that athleticism our wing problem can be solved from within.
