If he's doing show dunks what could possibly keep him out? There is still plenty of time to add Alec, add George and be firing on all cylinders by the playoffs. Mariana Trench deep.
 
This may be unpopular opinion, but maybe we need to give props to Quin for what's happening with Gobert? Remember the last Griz game when he benched him in the clutch because he was playing without thinking and giving up a ton of fouls and took a tech? Remember how we all jumped him cuz Rudy needs to finish games even when he's not playing great? Remember how we said the only legit reason to do this is to teach a lesson and light a fire under him? Well, the fire has been lit and it's burning the whole league to the ground.

Yea, we're quick to jump on Quin when we see anything we don't like, but he has got these guys playing really well through adversity.

And let's not forget the other guys a lot of us jumped on too early.

Boris has been absolutely fantastic of late, especially important with Favors being out. I would also give him some credit for Gobert's improvement, you can see him, and hear him working with Gobert on the court.

Mack has been equally important with Hill being out, and he still makes you scratch your head every now and then, but he has been doing a much better job of getting the offense running, not hogging the ball, and shooting at a good clip.

Anyone else? I feel pretty confident in Withey when he's out there these days.
 
Tough and gritty game. Awesome win. We're now in 5th place, and it is well-deserved. I think we're better than Clips and Rockets, and I hope we can finish the season in 3rd spot.

He's a 6'6" dude doing windmill dunks and between the leg dunks. You think his ankle's not healed? I think they are just holding him out until he gets stronger overall since we don't really need him too bad right now.

Yeah, he can jump really high. Having a less than optimal strength ankle won't really effect your ability to move in a straight line or jump that much, but lateral movements are a different thing.

Great point. I wonder what Rudy would say about this. We were all pretty fired up about that move by Quin.

if you miss a ft, the following ft has a different change of going in. same could be said for the 3rd one after missing the first 2. because your model lacks those stats and other real world factors your model is flawed.
like for example it being a road game. or for example. players have for example different ft% for back to back or 1 day rest or 3 days rest! or on the road ft's have different changes of going in


your statiscal value fails because it is a simplified version of very complex, real world complex thing.

Yeah true but there is no model for that. So you can't predict probability.

I'm having a harder and harder time seeing how any team wins 4 out of 7 against a fully healthy Jazz. I am sooooooo ****ing excited for thee playoffs.
 
Just finished watching the game. That's the definition of a grind out game. Great to see us make plays down the stretch with the three's. Last year we lose this game. We are making plays not justst with Hill but Mack a far less superior pg.

So Zaza, Cousins, Valanciunas, Mozgov, Embiid, Chandler, Lopez, Horford, Valanciunas and Towns.

Lopez scares me the most followed by Horford.
