What's new

2015-2016 NBA Thread

I was pining for Brandon Knight and Chris Singleton.

well, 1 for 2 ain't bad.

What's up with Ty Lawson, he's been total trash this season and is killing my fantasy team

He's not a good fit next to Harden and he's a drunk. You can only get away with that for so long before it catches up with you. If he drinks a lot he might be doing other stuff too.

Meanwhile the Bucks are doing pretty badly with MCW, like I predicted. Trading Knight was a bonehead move. He was a very good compliment to Giannis.

Yep.

I didn't understand that trade. They say it was so they could keep Middleton, so they sorta had to choose. But probably a bad choice.

Too bad we didn't draft Knight. He'd be a great fit for us right now. It didn't even make sense when we drafted him either. We didn't need another big. The Jazz do some dumb **** sometimes and our fans don't like to admit it.

The most incompetent GM in sports? How's he still have a job?? this was too good to leave unposted

“We took our shot and it didn’t work,” Billy King said. “And now to see some of these guys develop and to get it back and for us to have the cap space [next summer], we can do it pretty quickly. We want to win but we knew we may take a step back when some of the decisions were made. But what I like is we’ve put ourselves in the position to beat a Golden State, we just didn’t make the right plays. That’s just learning how to win. We’re talking the steps.”

Yeah OK that's pretty dumb, but I'm pretty sure most of the moves King made were directed by Prokhorov? The dumbest one being giving away their pick to POR for Gerald Wallace IIRC... that pick eventually turned into Damian Lillard.

Prokhorov's 'win now' attitude must be at least be to blame there.

Always thought Nas was much better than Jay-Z anyway, Jay bit his style.. the font on the sign pisses me off too, looks like a cover to a mixtape.. When I was bailing on the Knicks, there was no way I was gonna root for the Nets, even though I'm a big Brook Lopez fan.

I didn't like how they treated Favors at all either, I used to tune in there just to see him play. They have many years of losing infront of them, and no draftpicks. It's definitely time for a new GM, and a new plan.

The Barclays center is dope though. I still can't believe they got that built.

Will the 76ers get their first win of the season tonight against the T-Wolves?

91-91 right now with 1.26 left to play.
