2016-17 Hype Train Playoff Chase!!!

When was the last time we had consecutive 25+ point wins on the road?

This is our best road team since Stockton and Malone, right? **** those DWill days.

I just read an article I think SLC dunk and it said we hadn't had back-to-back wins on the road like that since 1984.

Yeah but strangely we do not defend at home. Maybe the booze an actual nightlife on the road is helping. That an most jazz are married peeps an gettin away from the wife must be stress relief.

we're currently hanging onto the 2nd longest win-streak in the NBA, after the insanity of the Heat's 12-game win streak.

Has the Heat's win streak become the weirdest basketball story this year? I'm trying to remember an instance of a team with their pre-streak win percentage having anything like this kind of run.

Yes, this past win set a record in that regard.

I feel like the jazz have a 50% chance or better of beating any team in the nba in a 7 game series other than GS, Cavs, and spurs.

If the Jazz continue to play like this I think we have a decent chance to take the Spurs.

I agree. Still less than 50 percent though.

Eh, I don't have a problem being a top 5 team in the league right now. Pretty happy about it really.

It's a bummer to be a top 5 team and I wouldn't be surprised if they lost in five games in the second round. I think we could take the ECF to 6 or 7 games. But the top two in the West are just so dang good.

Totally 100% in love with our team though, don't get me wrong.

Quote me on it, if the Jazz meet the Spurs in the playoffs we will 100% beat them. No sweat.

I have more faith in beating the Spurs than beating a healthy Clippers team. I'm even more scared of the Rockets than the Spurs.

Right now I think the key to a deep post-season run is finishing 3rd seed, ahead of the Rockets.

Step 1: Go up against the Grizzlies. I know we've lost the season series against them, but they honestly don't worry me. DFav being healthy cancels out the Zbo effect, PG is a wash, I take Rudy over Marc in any series. Our depth > theirs. Easy W. Only other team I'd prefer over them is the Nuggets. No thank you to LAC or OKC in round 1.

Step 2: We take on the victor between OKC and Spurs, a nightmare series for SAS given that their biggest hole is PG, they just lost against them last year, and the two bigs of Adams and Kanter will feast on them just like last year. Spurs likely win, but in a drawn-out series. We then take them on.

Step 3: Jazz take on Warriors.

Grizz --> Spurs --> Dubs is far and beyond the most enticing playoff trip for this Jazz team. We need that 3rd seed.

If we get the 4th seed it'll be Clippers --> Warriors. Likely out in the 2nd round.

Step 3: Pray the Rockets upset the Warriors

Step 4: Bend over the Rockets like always

Where did I say increase? I said adjust. Please have someone help with your comprehension skils.

RIF (Reading is Fundamental).

But really, at this point, just making the playoffs would be disappointing. It would take some monumental injuries (like Hayward and Gobert out for the season) for the Jazz to miss.
I thought it went without saying that the number goes down by a half game every time we win or the team in 9th position loses, so I assumed when you said "adjust" you meant that something other than that will happen if a different team takes over 9th.

Definitely the weirdest on court story anyway. The nba has turned into a god damn soap opera this year.

As confident as I am, I wish people would stop puffing their chests out. We haven't even remotely done anything that matters and still are mediocre against +.500 teams.
