Oh my god. You're right. They were down 30 at one point.

Spurs are only 1 game back in the loss column behind the Warriors. If they got the 1st seed that changes everything. Can you imagine playing the Clippers/Grizzlies and then the Spurs? We could legit make the WCF.

I can imagine you guys are having a lot of fun prognosticating what teams the Jazz will play on the road to a championship this year, but one, it's WAYYY too early to think we know where things are going to end up and two, no team is going to try to game the standings by dropping seeding to get a better path through the playoff bracket. Never. You just try to win for the best seeding possible and then just try to win as much as possible in the playoffs. So as a previous poster stated...
Just win.
Hypothetical
Let's say the race for the 1st seed comes down to the Spurs final game(@ Utah). Do you rest players so that Westbrook gets an early shot at the Warriors?
Thunder beat Spurs by 10 and Clippers beat Grizzlies by 16.
Jazz a full 2 games up on the Clippers, a full 5 games up on the Thunder and Grizzlies.
Spurs/Thunder first round meeting would be interesting.
We're going to be playing the Clippers in the first round it seems like.

LaMarcus Aldridge is out indefinitely with a heart arrhythmia. They are very vulnerable now. I don't see them falling from the #2 seed but they aren't getting the #1. Seeds 3, 6, 7 are the most favorable now, imo. We need to stay out of the 4/5. Is that going to happen? Probably not.
