Any rookie you draft is going to help you lose.Fun players that help you lose might be the precise player type we need for the next 1-2 years.

People are really underestimating how bad it is. Most small guys like DIllingham are tough, have great instincts on D, and are thicker. It's going to be so bad it might be a situation where he struggles to ever get on the court.Tony Jones thinks Dillingham needs to reach Trae Young levels of offensive production to offset how awful his defense is.
I just respectfully disagree.Tony Jones thinks Dillingham needs to reach Trae Young levels of offensive production to offset how awful his defense is.
My thought is it will be easier to move into the top 5 if you want to. Like if we came with #10 and a 2025 pick I think we could get to #3 and def could get to #5. Last year price would have doubled. Outside of that I am not sure the picks will flow like wine. I think picks 20-40 will be a cluster F of movement though and much of it will be about money/cap management.I thought of another one, C) teams might have a hard time agreeing on value in this draft. Some teams might want a discount to move up based on the perceived weakness of the draft and other teams might want to be compensated similarly to other drafts.

Rookies dont help you win. You can take any rookie in this draft and put them in positions to help your team lose. Yes, some upperclassmen, like a Baylor Scheirman, could help the right team win when he is placed in teh correct role, but he's not going to make any team better across the board. What do you mean by this? Plenty of rookies have been positive players for the teams they play for. Specifically older players and low usage players, which there could be a lot of in this draft.

Bub/Edey 2024.He's the best player in the draft and it's not particularly close and it's going to be hilarious when the NBA finds out.
There's not when you are 6'1 165I think Rob needs to reach Trae Young levels of offense to be Trae Young....but there is a lot of room between Trae Young and outside of the NBA. The idea that it's one or the other is just silly.
There isn’t a lot of room between Trae Young and strictly being a bench player on a serious team.I think Rob needs to reach Trae Young levels of offense to be Trae Young....but there is a lot of room between Trae Young and outside of the NBA. The idea that it's one or the other is just silly.
Lakers dont really have anyone I would be interested in outside of Jalen Hood Schifino (laugh away). I doubt they would give up Reaves. I also think they are a 2nd apron team so they cant even aggregate players meaning you would have to take back D'Lo or Rui and not be able to get JHS.Lakers are targeting Sexton. Remove the '27 protections (I equate that to the value of a FRP), this years Laker pick no.17, and give a good contract/player back then I would do it. Maybe give them the 32nd pick.
