A brush with destiny -- Celtics at Jazz 3/28/2018 7:30 pm MST

You obviously didnt see how often Monroe got into our passing lanes.
Did Monroe go right at Gobert in the final 3 minutes or nah? He done that a number of times, and got destroyed every time. He finally gets one to go in the final 3 minutes.

Why would he? Its not his job to take over the game like that.

He had an effect on the glass though... which IS his job.

Boston shot 57% from three. We shot 27%. I think we played pretty well considering. If we shot 31% from 3 we win the game. 9 out of 10 games we play like this we win.

Not if you close the game like we did tonight. Literally every final possession was a broke mess.

Watching the highlights, the game was really won by the Celtics' 3-pt shooting. Larkin, Brown, Tatum, Rozier were hitting most the night.

I hate everything... we had em on the ropes a couple times and nothing ****.

Quin is a good coach but why did we start running clock up like 4 with a few minutes left? Just keep running our **** so we don’t force something awful.

I hate everything.

Its not about Exum you muppet its about moving away from whats working and moving on from what isnt... you know, exactlt what Stevens did.

That’s exactly what I was going to say...

If some of the so called lesser players are performing better on the night then go with them to finish the game.

I guess that’s what makes a coach great or not, there ability to see and act quickly during the pressure moments in a game.

Exum hits 2 shots in a row and people act like he is Klay Thompson during his 40 point quarter.
Obviously he ain’t Klay Thompson, but gotta give some credit to Exum after a serious injury.

Small sample but 26 mins for 21 points over past 2 is much better output then anything he’s done previously.

Honestly though it really was mostly just one team shooting the lights out and another team that can’t seem to throw it in the ocean.

Rubio did some good things but so many times when we have them in the blender the possession ends with a Rubio jumper. He had a couple of his WTF turnovers too. I just don’t know what to make of him sometimes.

Thought our guys played they asses off though... you can tell on defense when Donovan feels like he has something to prove. He really got into guys tonight.

I truly believe that jazz can win all the remaining regular season games. Go Jazz!

Another question I have had... Donovan is either a slow starter or he’s been told to ease into the game. He is not very aggressive in the first quarter at all. Can we just tell him to be aggressive and set him loose from the tip? I mean not iso 4th quarter aggressive but he’ll look for your shot or aggressively create some offense.

Our slow starts kind of drive me crazy.

For all those who complained about him jacking 3s. I sure would have liked to have seen about 4-5 more 3s by him tonight.
