I think that after Big Al and Millsap have gone, there was a big competition in the team for who would have been the face of the franchise.

I think as well that Hayward didn't like Kanter at all and probably also Burke that often refused to pass the ball to Kanter when he was wide open. Let's not forget that Burke had the ambition to become the face of the franchise after his rookie season too. In litte words, lot of conflicts of interest.

Burks injury will hurt considerably the Jazz playoff ambitions, let the tank begin.

A small trade would be great right about now. John Jenkins, Solomon hill, Tim Hardaway... Basically anything to save my eyeballs from watching millsuck

Damn! I was so excited for this season...Then Exum goes down, the guy I was most excited for this season. Then Gobert goes down, the guy I was 2nd most excited for this season. And now Burks...**** it all!!!

I don't see this team making the playoffs at this point. They just don't have a lot left with 3 of their main pieces missing significant time. Don't forget Hood has also seemed to be in and out of the lineup.

Kanter's public trade demand (which caused his value to tank) was the primary thing that caused fans to turn on him, and then when he returned to play the Jazz he trashed the franchise, his teammates, the city and everything else about Utah except the mountains. That would have been enough to secure the fans hatred but he apparently wanted more, so he egged them on by admitting that he didn't always give full effort for his millions, and then he begged for boos at team intros when he returned. No wonder the guy is reviled. He begged for it.

yup. and even before his trade demand, many were talking about his trade possibility including me since his game did not look very good at all, his awareness on both ends sucked, he didn't receive the ball and since he is a post up player that made him look worse and rudy emerged and he looked even less necessary. his demand was somewhat expected but not as a demand but as a request maybe. well, it is what it is.

Exactly. I liked Kanter fine. Then he demands a trade. I liked him a lot less. Then he trash talks Utah, the Jazz and his teammates. I liked him a lot lot less. Then he said he wasn't giving it 100% while he was here. I pretty much started hating the guy.
