This sucks! I feel bad for Alec. I hope his recovery is as fast as possible and fully healed.
Anyone using the word tank, I want to smash your face with a hammer.
I don't think Alec being out really moves the needle that far either direction (he actually scores more and shoots more in losses than he does wins). Get Rudy back is the most important thing. More shots for Hayward will be better.
Exactly. I liked Kanter fine. Then he demands a trade. I liked him a lot less. Then he trash talks Utah, the Jazz and his teammates. I liked him a lot lot less. Then he said he wasn't giving it 100% while he was here. I pretty much started hating the guy.

would you rather see Hayward shoot 40 to 45 times a game, or 45 to 50?
18-22.
1822.

I see no silver lining in the injuries to Exum or Gobert. Those guys are more talented and needed to develop more than Burke and Withey. Burks being injured could be good for Hood but it in no way helps Hayward develop.Exum being out has been good for Burke and Neto. Gobert and Favors being out has been good for Lyles and Withey. Will Burks being out be good for Hood and Hayward? How much of a silver lining is there to these injuries?
Great point. Just ignore the warriors (barnes) cavs( lebron) spurs (Duncan) thunder (Westbrook, Durant) rockets (Hakeem) and othersWhy shouldn't we tank? I mean... It's been working out so well for teams like Sacramento and Philly. Where is Philly in the standings again?

Why is Barnes in this conversation? lol
Actually. we're not. The EC is stronger than the WC at the lower fringe playoff area. Just missing the playoffs in the WC this season would likely put the Jazz right around the 10th pick. If Utah got Poetl to replace Withey/Pleiss that would be a very good scenario. This sucks so bad. The question now is: Do we tank or keep fighting for a playoff spot? I think we are still too good to get a top ten pick, but I just can't see us holding on to the 8th seed unless Hood steps up big time.
I don't care how many shots gets Hayward. The important is that he carries the team's offense on his shoulders in the 4th quarter. He often failed to do it with Burks on the court or not.
Sometimes it seems like Hood has more confidence in his offense down the stretch rather than Hayward.
I wasn't a fan the last couple years and many others that had grown frustrated with his lack of effort and inconsistent play.I remember a near past time when many Jazz fans loved him. **** hit the fan when it was the time for the conflict of interests.
Say what you want about Kanter, but at least he tried to protect our guys even if it was inadvertent.

Did anybody stand up for Burks last night? Think Malone would have let that go? Just curious.
