All else being equal, who would you rather have running the Jazz: Bledsoe or Burke

Who would you rather have as the Jazz PG of the future?

I wonder what would happen if I had put Nate Wolters in the poll.

Here are Trey Burke highlights. The kid's obviously very talented and a natural PG. I'm just going in circles at this point.

The final floater was nasty. That is his future move in the NBA when he gets in the paint.

Trey Burke and its not even close...the Bledsoe deal isn't getting done anyways, its just the Clippers making the Celtics feel like they need to pull the trigger on the the Garnett deal (or better yet, convince KG to waive his no trade clause). If there is a chance for the Clippers to get KG that could be the missing piece to a Championship run. The difference between getting Kevin Garnett over Paul Millsap is so big that if they want Chris Paul to resign and they are trading Bledsoe they better swing for the fences.

Having said that, Trey Burke's combination and ability to shoot and pass is head and shoulders above what Eric Bledsoe can do, I promise. Bledsoe has amazing athletic ability but Burke's is good enough to keep his man in front of him on the defensive end.

Got to go with Bledsoe as well.
If for nothing else, just because it would be this week he would join the Jazz, and not next summer as it would be with Burke, and that is if we even were able to draft Burke.

If all things were equal, I'd still go with Bledsoe.

Much shorter. And less athletic. Two things that help Holiday on the defensive end where Burke will probably struggle in the NBA. But Idk.

Actually I would say Burke is more athletic than Holiday. I always thought Holiday was kind of slow compared to other PG's.

I think the main thing that makes me hesitant to fall in love with Black Jesus Burke is that not only does he lack size and explosion, but he doesn't have that elite speed to make up for it the way Lawson and CP3 do.

Maybe, but I'd say he's more explosive off the ground. He had a pretty great dunk in the All-Star game today. I think I've only seen Burke dunk once or twice?

He isn't on Lawson level of speed, but I think he is just as fast as Paul with ball.

I really question that.

Really? That's one thing I pay attention to when watching Burke. Maybe I'll just have to watch more, but that's been my reaction. If he's as fast/quick as Paul, then I'd feel pretty great about him.

Bledsoe lovers are blinded by his ability to get to the rim, but more importantly are blinded by his highlight reel dunks. And that's NOT what wins in this league, the ability to pass and spread the floor and playing a respectable defense IS what wins in this league.

CP is all about shifting directions and changing speeds at the drop of a hat. Plus he freezes defenders by always having multiple passing lanes and scoring options. He's as crafty as they come. He was never that fast. TBH, I think he's probably on the short side of 6'0".

I guess it's a good thing that Bledsoe is a great defender?

Which is what got him into the league and then hes done the other stuff too, I agree, just horrible..he needs to tone it down obviously..

I think Burke is legit if he's really 6'0". His speed and body control are just fine. He's just not a flyer like Westbrook.

CP3 doesn't have elite speed.
