Probably because it's easier to make deals with people that they like.

If you've got to resort to that argument then it's not a fair deal.

Seriously?Correct me if wrong, but I think I'm the only one thats made a pick today. Lol
Seriously?
If I had offered you a trade for #35 & #60 for #25 & #70, you wouldn't have even taken a look at it.
I would have if you could have guaranteed me Moses Malone and James Worthy were going to be there.
Alright bro, I'll approve it do whatever makes you feel happy man, I just thought you could have gotten more.

George has been in the league 4 years now. *Jazz fans will always view him as the one that got away. Though Hayward was well worth the 9th pick 4 years ago, he's not a franchise changer, George is, and proved it as he had his breakout year this last year in guiding the pacers to the ECF vs the heat and LBJ.
Paul had his best season posting a nice stat line: 21/6/3 line. He brings length shooting athletic ability, and is a lockdown defender. George has no problem guarding positions 1 through 3 *George also has nice handles and floor game, and willing passer and team player, he will have no problem fitting in with the players I already have.
If I'm not mistaken, Indiana wanted Hayward more than they did George.
Are you sure?? I don't ever remember seeing Hayward's name anywhere near the top ten, but I could be wrong.

SK: Yeah. I’ve watched some of his plays, and it’s definitely—if there’s been any other player since I’ve played, and when I watch him play he definitely reminds me of myself. Not as much power, but definitely has the athleticism [laughs]. Not enough! He’s a little slower, but he’s a great player.
