What's new

Anthony Davis

I hope it's not the worse. Even If it's not the worse, It could already be enough to help us fighting for the 1st seed, and for Mike's all star case (and he could still just roll an ankle against us in the playoffs)

And for the money part, it's the type of injury that could limit things like how comfie you're going up the ladder to change a light bulb, or taking a walk with your kids and dogs at the park. Money on his pocket, but his (and any athlete at any moment) life experience could dramatically change, well beyond mere sports life success

There's a decent chance he doesn't get or remain healthy for the rest of the season.

Makes me damn happy we shut Conley down like we did.

Remember when our injured players would come back too early and re-injure themselves? Hope we got new trainers since then.

Wouldn't that depend on Detroit doing the Lakers a favor? Why would they do that? I bet he goes to Boston for an asset.
Drummond is on the Cavs, not the Pistons.

My guess is that the Cavs would (and I think should) ask for Taylor Horton-Tucker, assuming they'll not just buy out his contract. Not really sure why the Lakers would feel they need Drummond, what with Gasol and Harrell already. Will Bjelicia be bought out? Maybe he becomes an option for the Lakers if the AD injury is significant.

You don't have to feel sorry for him, but hoping that it's really bad is straight up disgusting and inhumane.

Right. Hoping that someone tears an insignificant muscle slightly more is disgusting and inhumane. It's not disgusting and inhumane that a man is getting paid 30 million a year to put a ball through a basket and has the best medical care you can imagine, while for many people in the country, it's cheaper to die than to get sick.

But hey, Anthony Davis' achilles is the real test of compassion and empathy.

I feel like you're trying to pick a fight where none exists.

There's a pretty big difference between indifference about another person's pain or injury and expressing malicious sentiments about it.

He's been trying to play through a sore Achilles all season. It's clearly impacted his game.

I'm surprised they haven't shut him down.

This. Really dumb for him not to be sitting. Home court has never seemed that important to Lebron and his teams.
