Best stuff on Netflix

I Haven't seen it. Is it any good? I am not much into detective stories.

For Utopia, bear in mind that it got cancelled in season 2 so it may leave some question marks at the end. I heard it is very good, though and I don't start watching Tv Series easily.

Ah.. if u don't like detective stories don't watch it. It's very similar to Broadchurch but it is set in France.

Chef's table.

Very very good series this. 6 episodes studying 6 different chefs and what they are doing in their restaurants as well as outside. Beautifully shot and gripping as well. The same director as Jiro Dreams of Sushi if you've ever seen that you'd know how good this series could be.

Loved it.

8.9/10 on IMDB.

who has time for this ****?

No disrespect intended, but I cannot fathom having time for a TV series between work, family, and posting hella-lot on JFC.

Seriously though, if you're someone who enjoys the finer things in life and culture, which I think you do, then you should enjoy this... it's about Food becoming Art ...

Has anyone watched The Inbetweeners? My UK mates from a game recommended it. I've only been able to watch 8-9 minutes of it due to language around kids, but ROFL. Seems promising and want a second opine before diving into it at work.

Its pretty funny. They made an American Version of it for MTV that was the same show but only lasted 1 season. I liked it better but didnt catch on. The UK one also has two movies for it after the series ended. Its kind of typically dumb high school kids that are socially awkward getting into dumb situations to get with girls show. The UK slang words for dirty stuff made me laugh a lot though.

I've watched 3 episodes drunk and in a funky mood and have laughed my *** off. Agreed on the UKisms.

Creep - Pretty solid found footage horror/comedy.

Uncomfortable, weird, funny, creepy. Starring and co written by Mark Duplass ( who I am a big fan of ). Only 75 minutes long. I had to walk out to my car after it was over and I was looking over my shoulder and had a little pep in my step. Creeped me out.

Not on Netlfix, but on Hulu. I've been looking for The Shield forever and finally found all 7 seasons on Hulu. Almost done with the first season and its amazing. A little cheesy at time being that it was on in the early 2000's, but its really damn good.

Does this show get better? I watched the first episode and nothing caught my attention enough to want to keep watching. It just felt like a Lost style show.

Definitely gets better. Kinda Lost-esque but with a consistent story and better character development. It gets more and more bad *** as it goes.

Ex Machina.

Brilliant. Everything about it. Extremely well directed/shot, acted (Star Wars is in great hands with Isaac who imo may be the hottest guy (talent, not looks) going right now and to take it a step further would be absolutely perfect for True Detective--ultra talented, not highly mainstream at this point, delivered meta lines extremely well in this), and written. It really made you think without being preachy and I found the dichotomy of the setting interesting.

Can't recommend it highly enough.

Sense 8 and Creep...added to the list.

We've been watching the X-Files again. Great show. Pumped for the new episodes.

Wife and I watched it. It was ok ish. The American version that is.

So I'm just starting the 4th season of Breaking Bad on Netflix... going OK so far but I just don't understand why they only make 5 seasons overall?

I mean I would have thought there is more than enough material and different directions they could go... probably at least 5 more seasons if they wanted to? Anyone know why it suddenly stopped? Dropping ratings?
