Best stuff on Netflix

Definitely is. You should check it out. Much better/deeper character development than the Killing. Better acting too, IMO. Tension/suspense is taut all the way through, unlike the Killing where I'll have time to check my emails & browse Jazzfanz while watching.

Check it out and let us know what you think.

I personally felt The Killing was always extremely taut.

Wow .. ok.. well i haven't watched season 2-3 so I can't comment on those.

But season 1 the episode where Holden & Linden were running around looking for Jack? I was browsing internet right through that episode... I mean what was the point of that diversion???

It's been a few years since I've watched season one. I don't really remember.

I share Netflix with my friend and sister/brother-in-law. I'm nice and just pay for it and let them use it. So basically find a friend like me and mooch.

It's always been weird to me that people get hung up on $8 a month when its such a great service. You watch 2 movies a month and its paid for itself.

Can both of you's be using it at the same time? Doesn't the system prevent you doing that?

Naw, you can set up multiple accounts on an individual account, for if you have kids or roommates or something. Then apply filters to them. I think only two accounts can be watching at the same time though, so there are limitations.

Wow.. then at like $4 a month per account that's amazing value.

OK I think I'll have to eat my words... The Killing season 2 is much MUCH better than season 1. The actors seemed to have settled into their groove and the story is much deeper/richer than season 1.

Bill burr is really funny

Bill Burr is my favorite. I came across this bit a couple years ago (which happened to perfectly align with everything I've ever thought about Steve Jobs) and basically devoured everything he did thereafter.

Nice. The whole cult of personality thing is one of the reasons I dislike Apple a lot. (There are many others.)

I remember thinking that Brent Sexton was pretty amazing in that show. And both the mains were good.

Just finished season 2 of The Killing.

Wow... nicely done. Nice twist at the end and gives closure to the story. Season 1 was **yawn** most of the time. Season 2 is definitely a step up and although it was hard going at times especially scenes involving the Larsens (particularly the sobbing mother whom I really cannot stand), but it did eventually led to a somewhat satisfying end.

Would I watch it again? Probably not... unlike True Detective or Broadchurch which I think are worth second viewings. But it's not bad. If you've got time to kill or waiting between series and have a couple of weeks to get lost in a murder mystery then I guess you can do worse than The Killing.

OneLove, I don't know what to say but boy oh boy.

Anyway, I finished Broadchurch. It was very good. I'm not sure I liked it more or less than The Killing. The ending was sort of meh but I liked it nonetheless. Just started Happy Valley. 100%/95% on RottenTomatoes.

His voice is annoying, can't listen to him for extended periods of time but he is definitely hilarious.

Such a good show.

I've watched just the first episode and a half so far. The plot reminds me a lot of Fargo. The movie, not the tv show.

Also, while I like the lead character, I find her scenes sort of boring and am more intrigued by the William H. Macy character, his boss and the guys who committed the crime.
