Yes. I remember.

The one thing we have is *possibly* enough assets to acquire a might be star.
It'd be like if we were at an arcade and had a bunch of tickets we won from playing games. We can either turn the tickets in for a prize, or take the tickets home and have a bunch of pieces of paper while we wait for them to miraculously turn into a prize.
Burks is not magically turning into a prize and I cannot believe that I would ever have to type that out for some.

Burks is a prize. A good one. Just not THE prize. Hate to see him go but if that's what it takes to land The prize then let me help you pack your bags Mr. Burks.

If true that they do like Randle. Then wouldn't just the 5 & 23 be enough? I thought I heard the 2017 class was as good as this one???
Sadly, this
Is it possible for a Mormon to prefer Jabari independent of religious affiliation?
Sixers will ask for what they think it is worth to us. It needs to be considerably more than what it is worth to them. The league knows the Jazz will be willing to "overpay" with its current core 4 and picks for a potential superstar, and I predict we will do just that. Jazz are desperate for a superstar. Jazz will trade up at all costs, even if it is 1 spot for Exum. If they can't trade up, they will trade down. They are in no man's land right now. All the speculation about what they do with 5 is moot.

It's way too much for JP.
Stupid.

I think Wiggins and Embiid will be the first two selected. Parker will be there at 3. I hope we get him; I hope we don't have to gut the team to get him.
THANK YOU. One of the posters that truly gets it.
This is a chance we've not had in a while, and may not have for many years down the line.
We need to make a BIG PLAY, and go for the home run. Parker is worth it. Wiggins is worth it. Parker will be slightly easier to get.
I'm tired of following this team with ZERO shot to win a title. At least by adding one of the top 3 I can turn off the lights, and have naughty dreams of championships.
If he were a guarantee, then yes. Unfotunately, Parker is not, or he'd be the consensus #1, rather than a guy who could slip to 3 or 4, possibly 5 if the rumors of his being out of shape are true.

Parker is not going to get the Jazz a championship and just like Bledsoe and Harden they are very good players but neither are superstars. First of all no one even knows this is possible, it is simply Bill Simmons chatting up the draft.
