What's new

Can the Emmanuel Mudiay and Jeff Green experiments please end.

Isn't he a power forward? Uhh, this past off-season we signed about thirty of them. We don't need another.

I can't say I know much about his game. I've seen him on a number of teams and always thought he was a decent player who can help a team. But my team needs a hell of a lot more than Jeff Green. Danny Green I'd take in an instant. I am still stunned that we didn't make a play for him this summer. Local guy...he would have come here, he would have helped a lot. That guy is borderline Hall Of Fame material. I saw him play while he was in high school. He was stunningly brilliant then...and he is now in the NBA.

like i've been saying Ball doesn't move. If he doesn't hit shots he's incredibly negative because he offers nothing else. And his misses are always rebounded by the other team.

LMAO! This is the next stat that the NBA will track, "What percentage of one's misses are rebounded by the other team?" And his misses are ALWAYS rebounded by the other team. The insight that you watch the game with, I mean.... wow. Thank you so much for that. I guarantee you are the only one in the world who watches basketball to see what percentage of each and every individual Jazz player's shots are rebounded by the other team. It's great to know that according to your analysis, the percentage of Jeff Greens missed shots are rebounded by the other team, always. You should be a scout for the NBA! Such insight, such vision.

Ok, I’m updating my makeover:

Trade Exum
Trade Mudiay

Sign Jeremy Lin.

He is like those two combined but worse. Washed up, off injured, small, slow and has nothing left to offer. At least Mudiay can score sometimes and Exum may have trade value at some point. Lin is absolute garbage.

Lin is playing in China. Locke noted that having DedEx and Mudiay on the court at the same time isn't working.

How many minutes have exum and mudiay been on he court together? Against how many different teams? Seems like a small sample size

Green has been quite consistent thru his career, between 12 and 15 PER every season... until now (6.9?!). I guess there is hope he will play better. We might be already witnessing peak Mudiay, and peak Rxum.

Two things:
Number 1) Mudiay has surprised me. He is a tank who has great skills and has seemed better this year at finishing at the rim and through contact. So I am not going to bag him out. I do see issues with his floor game, but I think he has given the Jazz something.

Number 2) I hate the fact that Exum is told he is a 3D guy. So he plays some hard D and takes one three in two games and has a 'zero' usage rate - but the offensive woes are his fault. I find this disingenuous. Get back to me when the Jazz have this offensive rating while he is the lead ball handler and not sitting sipping beers in the front row seats.
