That "something" is HUNGER. He's just not very HUNGRY (yet). To me it's much better to get a player who is "Hungry" and try to tone him down. And no, I'm not talking about Favors quiet demeanor. Tim Duncan was quiet, but you can see the HUNGER in his eyes.

HUNGRY for dem midnight ding dongs.

I think we are screwed if Favors, as is, is really our best player.

Not saying he is as is. Thought that was obvious. There's a reason he's on the top 10 intriguing list and he's rated as our best player on ESPN and he is considered our best prospect by many other sites.

The premise of this whole thread is moronic. Can't believe it keeps getting a bump. I'm to blame for that as well.

So you go by what ESPN and the BleacherReport write?

That's great.

Possibly but I don't think we make that decision this year regardless of what Gobert does. We are not moving the center piece of the Deron trade because of the 27th pick in a weak draft. Getting ahead of yourself here Nick. By the same token we give Burke a break on summer league, we must also realize Gobert's performance up until now could be a complete fluke.

Are you still butthurt about those Apple stocks you sold in the 90's?

LOL... surprisingly Favors showed a lot of HUNGER tonight.

He might actually be alright - I'm feeling a bit better about his chances.

Favors looked much better than Gobert did. More power, better rebounds, held his spot better, more aggressive. And Favors will continue to get experience at the same time as Gobert did, so unless Gobert is way more talented (which he isn't), Favors' spot in the lineup is secure. The next question is whether or not we can afford to keep Gobert when his rookie deal is done.
