I don't get what the Hawks are doing with this Horford/Millsap play. Doesn't seem like there's any upside to if it works or if it doesn't.
Thanks. I doubt Burke or Johnson will be back. From a basketball standpoint, Jazz can improve over any of those guys on your list. With 3 firsts next year, I'd expect Utah to try to combine a couple to move up. So perhaps 2 new prospects. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Of the current guys who might be moved:
Ingles - free agent in 2017 restricted
Pleiss - free agent in 2018 restricted
Burke - free agent in 2017 restricted
Chris Johnson - free agent in 2017 unrestricted
Mack - free agent in 2017 unrestricted
Neto - free agent in 2018 - restricted
Withey - free agent in 2017 unrestricted
I think Withey will stay - he played well (when he actually played - mainly when Gobert was injured). CJ is gone. HOPEFULLY we trade Burke and Pleiss. I think we would keep Ingles unless another team was interested. And although Mack outplayed Neto, Neto has a great contract where he's a RFA. It was be surprising if we kept both Mack and Neto but perhaps they would keep Mack around to appease Hayward.

Agree. Millsap seems like a much better fit with Howard since he has an outside game.Unless they get a haul for Millsap, but still Horford/Howard just seems like a bad fit.

Leuer is interesting but redundant to Lyles IMO. Idk if I'd be willing to give Lyles minutes away to someone with a lower ceiling who does the same things as Lyles does.
Gasol ain't coming off the bench.
Don't bust my chops for a lack of link, but I read a couple of places he'd come off the bench for the right situation...
Perhaps a bit redundant, but I think he could still help. Probably a bit (maybe just a bit) better equipped for the time being to battle bigs in the post defensively and on rebounding.
Don't think Utah is it. There's every reason for him to think that he's still a substantially better player than Gobert.
