I didn't say you should. Was just correcting the mistaken facts you cared enough to post.
Reading comprehension fails you.
I was stating the "wealthiest" NBA owners. Not stating how many owners are wealthier than.
Go back to be bed bro.
Also, I'm not saying he's only worth a few hundred million but if you haven't seen Trump speak, all he does is speak in superlatives. Ever. I'm going to guess his 4-5B net worth is really more like 2-3B. That's not enough to own a franchise in my estimation, given how his money is tied up I'd think. At least the NBA would feel that way I would think.
Wrong again.
He is cited over and over and over as claiming 10B.
Forbes' team analyzed all of his assets and liabilities and said he's worth "less than half that."
$4.5B
Funny this is neither of us care.. I was just saying it's foolish to think he can't afford an NBA franchise. Only 14 NBA owners are even a one billionaire.
Isn't Trump like rich enough to buy the League?
Racist comments?
Sup bro?
**** him. How's that?
My finances are obviously way easier to construct than his, but I can see how it is so difficult to agree to a number.
For example, of the lands I own, do we calculate net worth at current market value as-is, or at their development value, net-present-value, or cash..... it really does go on and on.
I can make a SOLID case that X property is worth;
(add however many zeroes)
$1 - as-is
$1.5 - with city approvals/entitlements
$2.0 - with improvements in place
$5.0 - development profit (staying in and seeing through)
So what methods are used?
Obviously Trump will always use the yugest number.
Have always truly enjoyed your posts and your style.Trump would tell you that he is, but billionaires grow on trees when it comes to the NBA and its owners. Steve Ballmer could lose all of Trump's billions and still have over twenty billion to spare. This has nothing to do with the question, by the way. Siro sees the humor in it more than I do.
I'm understanding the first part of your name, Mr. Chocolate. But in all seriousness, there are dozens of his racists statements floating around everywhere. I thought this was common knowledge at this point. The man tweets with white supremacists, uses propaganda and messages from white supremacist forums, and is seen as a "great opportunity" by many of the white supremacist/neo-nazi groups that are openly supporting him, with words and violence. Tip of the iceberg.
Greetings
If you would have just started there and not made such a foolish assertion to begin with we could have saved ourselves a lot of time.
I'm happy to oblige in this little life lesson with you and have a great rest of your Sunday knowing you're a little smarter than when you woke up.

If he owns all those other businesses and his money is tied up in them, does he still have enough to first buy a franchise but then also operate it? That was a large part of my point in saying he didn't have the money. I'd still guess no or at least if he did, it wouldn't be easily so, and for that reason (amongst others), the NBA would pass.
That's not a fair assessment? Obviously he could sell some of those businesses...but I'm not sure he'd want to...
No one keeps billions in cash lying around. Nobody.
So I guess that makes that particular somewhat fair.
You liquidate, leverage, or JV.
And I agreed from the beginning it's all moot because the NBA would likely say no.
Define lying around.

Liquid. Write a billion dollar check that cashes "today."

Take as many as you want. No need to grasp.
