Donald Trump, Owner of an NBA Team

Okay. But some other assets may only take days to clear whereas his businesses and real estate could take months or years. That's all I meant.

It's not really any different. Software companies, sports media, real estate holdings, music and film... none of these are very liquid and real estate may be the easiest of all to liquidate.

But anyway, I think this has run its course.

Hey! Look! It's Joe ****.

Okay, but we agree, **** Trump?

correct me if I'm wrong, but if you've got billions in assets banks with loan you millions in cash without batting an eye?

Pretty sure if Trump bought a franchise they would be Joebag's favorite team.

I think if Trump waited a year after the race, assuming he loses, he could probably buy one.

Also, as far as financially, hardly anyone buys the team by themselves.

Only if he bought the Jazz, which I sincerely hope he does not do (and which I feel safe in saying he will never consider because he doesn't like or understand this state). It's crazy how I've been labeled a Trump supporter around here for questioning several negative things that have been said about him (and probably also for bringing up things I don't like about Hillary).

If it weren't real, I never could have believed that both parties could possibly pick such miserably terrible candidates in the same election.

The democratic candidate has a reputation for being shady with no conclusive proof whatsover. That may change with Julian ***ange's efforts. Many republicans and democrats don't trust her. However, the republicans have fashioned this idea that Clinton and Trump are somehow equally as bad. This is one of the biggest red herrings I've ever seen in politics. I can almost always recognize a generally rubber-stamp republican when they liken the two as equal. This is coming from a complete independent. I've voted for both republicans and democrats without batting an eye. The two candidates are not even close.

Worst thing you have with Clinton is a bad president. Worst thing you have with Trump is WWIII (this is not hyperbole) and/or completely and utterly destroyed credibility with any other country in the world, outside of maybe Russia.

I could never look at my daughter in the eyes again with a clear conscience if I helped make Trump and his tiny hands the representative of our country after he has objectified the mothers and daughters of this country, to say nothing of the many other marginalized peoples of this country. Add to this the fact that Trump is an absolute ignoramus who couldn't find a coherent sentence if it was nesting in his golden hair-club-for-men monstrosity. The cherry on top is that he is a pathological liar who tells the truth around 10-15% of the time (via Politico). This percentage is nowhere near any other candidate in the history of Politico to the best of my knowledge.

Fidel will be dead by then. Besides, doesn't Cuba like us now? They want our Yankee dollars.

Oh Mark.

so.. Trump fails at his presidential race and goes to war with Mark Cuban or he wins the race and goes to war with Cuba. High odds.

I love freedom.

Of course, Hillary will win this by about 10M fraudulent votes, which denigrates all kinds of real Americans and makes slaves of us all.

After that, I'd love to see Trump buy the Utah Jazz and make winners of all of us at last.

A Hillary win will forever discredit the establishment. If I was David Rockefeller, I'd switch to Trump right now.

No doubt that my core political values are conservative, so I definitely lean toward those candidates (especially in national elections). But at various times I have voted for Democrats for all offices.

In my opinion if Clinton were running against a legitimate candidate she would have no chance. She is extremely corrupt and the only reason anyone is denying it is that they think Trump is worse. America ought to be able to do a lot better than either one of these candidates.

Hi Babe. I'm sure you're a nice person, but is this the answer Billy Madison gave on the Industrial Revolution?

The cheapest franchise, the Pels, is estimated at 650M. I'd bet it wouldn't sell for cheaper than about 900M. Once he opened his books, they'd realize he wasn't worth nearly enough or have enough liquid assets, to own and operate them.

In comparison, Ballmer's net worth is 27.7B.

Ballmer has 27 Billion and he's too tight to shell out for dance lessons ???
