The democratic candidate has a reputation for being shady with no conclusive proof whatsover. That may change with Julian ***ange's efforts. Many republicans and democrats don't trust her. However, the republicans have fashioned this idea that Clinton and Trump are somehow equally as bad. This is one of the biggest red herrings I've ever seen in politics. I can almost always recognize a generally rubber-stamp republican when they liken the two as equal. This is coming from a complete independent. I've voted for both republicans and democrats without batting an eye. The two candidates are not even close.
Worst thing you have with Clinton is a bad president. Worst thing you have with Trump is WWIII (this is not hyperbole) and/or completely and utterly destroyed credibility with any other country in the world, outside of maybe Russia.
I could never look at my daughter in the eyes again with a clear conscience if I helped make Trump and his tiny hands the representative of our country after he has objectified the mothers and daughters of this country, to say nothing of the many other marginalized peoples of this country. Add to this the fact that Trump is an absolute ignoramus who couldn't find a coherent sentence if it was nesting in his golden hair-club-for-men monstrosity. The cherry on top is that he is a pathological liar who tells the truth around 10-15% of the time (via Politico). This percentage is nowhere near any other candidate in the history of Politico to the best of my knowledge.
