"Player empowerment" is about far more than players asking out. The article actually doesn't mention anything about that, it talks about players basically running their organizations and teams finally pushing back.

So the better question is; who is Utah taking power back from? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

I give him credit for not demanding out - but I do wonder how much of the “I won’t leave until you have my best” is a PR spin because they know Danny isn’t gonna move him
