Good question.
I would do it. I think that no one on our current roster is going to be a star. I think we need a star. I think porz could be a star. An actual current star that has already reached his potential is damn near impossible to trade for since everyone knows that when you trade a batman for a couple robins you lose the trade (other than teams that know that their star is leaving anyway like d-wll and melo and even in those scenarios you can't be sure they will re-sign with the jazz) so you have to kind of look for guys that haven't got there yet and hope that they will someday.

The Knicks.. Porzingis was such a good pick Jackson would be smart to weasel his way out of there now, hes already done a better job than Donnie Walsh who was hired to transition their roster into something else..
They don't have a first round pick this year, but they do have Porzingis Sevilla teammate Willy Hernangomez.
Plus did you see how many Porzingis jersey's were sold?! they couldn't even keep them in stock..
