I'm trying to figure out why Boston would be a better destination for him? I get that playing in a bigger market with his college coach would be a plus.
But Boston isn't a better team. Nor do I see Thomas making Hayward a better player. Hayward needs the ball in his hands to be most effective as does Thomas. Boston would have another OKC situation, where two stars need/want the ball but there's only one ball to share.
