Enes Kanter hasn't helped his draft stock

i dont know is he an armenian but maybe he likes kim kardashian anyway i wanna say something raptors and cavs fans also say that Jonathan Givony hates Enes Kanter and i dont care what draftexpress writes

How many Dwills do you know that play horrible defense?

Not sure if you watched those videos, but Kanter shows defensive effort and ability that make Jimmer look like a cross between AK in 2004 and Ron Artest.

There is no excuse for the crap-fest that was Kanter's D in those videos. If he wants to prove he's a high-pick, he should've been working out with players and working on his defense. Non-competitive workouts = absolutely no growth on defense.

**** me. I hate this draft.

Share alot of your feelings on Kanter, Prodigy, but don't think this - or much of anything that will happen from now until the draft will change peoples' minds.

What am I invisible? Call me Flip, call me Flop - this stuff can totally change my mind. I'm not in love with any prospect - I just want the Jazz to get the best player. Drafting this high, and since I don't consider the other players in this draft any big loss, I'm hoping they gamble on a big man. I've hemmed and hawed over Kanter vs. Valanciunas vs. Biyombo, but thinking he was more of a sure thing I went with Kanter. Now I might flop to Valanciunas. I'm glad I'm not making the choice since I'm not privy to the info/workouts KOC is. I'm just interested in what he ultimately discovers about the prospects and who he decides to go with.

I still think Knight or Walker are the most likely to get picked at 3 if we don't trade it.

I'm down on Kanter after having seen a little bit of footage (which also constitutes about a quarter of existing game-film on the kid), but I'd still pick him every day above Walker.

I have actually warmed myself up to Walker over the past few days with the speculation out there that the Jazz may favor him over Knight. I really like the idea of Knight and Hayward teaming up as a lights out shooting backcourt. Walker does have the leadership qualities that the team is clearly devoid of.

He's referring to the Armenian genocide that Turkey allegedly committed (they deny it) about a century ago.

Is this the reason for his "agenda?" I mean, he has really stuck to his guns on his sort of negative opinion of Kanter. Or are all the other scouts just a bunch of lemmings that can't form their own opinions and regurgitate what everyone else is saying? Why didn't any of the lemmings regurgitate Givony's negative opinion? ...I dunno, but for some reason Givony has no problem standing alone in his negative opinion of Kanter. DX is a well respected site and I see no reason to doubt that Givony has watched plenty of Kanter (as much as he can) and yet, for some reason, he is still touting Valanciunas and Bismack before him.

Is it just effort that makes him rate Valaciunas and Bismack ahead of Kanter? because yeah, Valanciunas and Bismack probably give more effort than Kanter but boy howdy they're not nearly as polished. And Kanter's body, judging from the numbers at the combine, is in terrific shape - which seems to indicate some measure of discipline at least.

Or maybe Givony is in cahoots with Cleveland and wants to cloud the consensus #3 prospect with doubt, so that the Jazz will pass on him and he will fall to the bitter Cavs. ...Does Stern have any reason to "fix" the draft for a place like Cleveland? Is offsetting Lebron's departure by hooking Cleveland up with some new talent good business / damage control? I mean, a lot of people hate Lebron for abandoning Cleveland and it kinda left a sour taste in my mouth about the NBA. But if the league threw Cleveland a few talented bones wouldn't that maybe mitigate some of the sour taste and make the NBA's image a little better, or at least not quite so sour. ...my hatred of Stern knows no bounds and often leads me to the land of conspiracy. -- pardon me but I think I've strayed from the subject and landed in a tangent.

I think Givony just has a problem with going off one game to evaluate Kanter. Everyone who has him ranked has him ranked because of the Hoop Summit. I don't think Givony feels confident enough in that one performance to rank him that high. Biyombo, Valacunias, and Vesely are all in the European league now contributing and showing what they can do.

Givony might be wrong, but I applaud him for going against what has basically been a hype train for Kanter and making his own opinion than just taking the easy route and ranking him like everyone else does.

Draft Express needs to have their mock draft look like what NBA teams will draft, not what Givony would draft.

I call it clueless. Which you are, douche. (take another shot at ringing a mod ... you're a true douche)
