Enes Kanter still unsigned

In the handful of games I saw with Kanter @ OKC they used him way better than we ever did. Ibaka compliments Kanter way better than Favors or Gobert complimented Kanter.

They didn't have him try to be an inconsistent pick n pop big man. They just parked him under the basket and let him work that offensive glass and finish around the basket. He will be nasty with Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka on offense. They might have the best offensive team in the league with those 4 in a starting line-up. If Billy Donovan can figure out how to get them to play team defense, they are a favorite to contend.

I mean the dude averaged 5 offensive rebounds per game in 31 minutes. That has to be top 5 in the league.
So you are saying kanter would have been better with someone like ibaka always praising him and telling him how good he is?

You seriously just like argue about everything so much you never take a true stance of anything. Just a few day ago you sit here and remind everyone how you always hated the pick kanter and now you are arguing how good he is. What is this?

Status on OKC's Enes the Menace:

There are people close to Kanter who are skeptical that the Thunder will match, but general manager Sam Presti said in no uncertain terms Thursday that he plans to do so.

"We haven't received an offer sheet as of yet," Presti told The Oklahoman newspaper Thursday regarding the deal that was first reported by Yahoo Sports. "But our intention has been to match offers on Enes and nothing has changed in this regard.

OKC paying a ton of money in luxury tax for one season. According to Hoops Hype, OKC payroll is at $79M with Kanter in at $7M, so add $10M to that. There isn't much on their roster they can dump. I guess Collison and Novak. But they'll have to give up picks to do so. Or they just bite the bullet and take an additional $10M? hit in taxes.

Kanter is the gift that keeps on giving.

I guess it's about $35 million for Kanter for next season. Yikes.

The best part is the trade kicker that pretty much guarantees that Kanter is a Thunder for the life of his contract. There is no way in Hell we would have paid 17 million for Kanter, so any trade we got was a good trade. Hope that team falls apart this year and loses their stars because screw them for moving the Sonics.
