Exum Putting In Some Work

Well, at least Exum has an early start. If he works hard all off-season and is mentored by people who know what they're doing there's bound to be improvements.

I would like to see that as well. He needs to become a solid three point shooter. He does have a floater but it is very awkward looking.

It's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Well, OK... I exaggerated... but you get what I mean.

To be honest watching exum breath during the games he needs some serious high altitude training. I understand going to LA to work out but there is a reason runners train in high altitude.

Atleast get him wearing the breathing restrictors they have now.

I cant wait for the Jazz new training facility to be built.

The breathing restrictors are ineffective and dangerous.

Good to see him doing work. I am reserving any expectations for him next year. Just hope to see improvement. Would love to see us sign a lead point guard in the meanwhile.

scratch the breathing restrictors the studies show that only living in a high altitude will get your body to produce more red blood cells and that short duration of restrictions does not increase the bodies performance.

The USA Olympic training facility is in Denver Colorado because of the high altitude.

He needs to shoot 10s of thousands of corner threes this off season. I would love for him to learn a little floater in the lane too so he doesn't have to drive hard and fall awkwardly to the floor whenever he drives the lane.

I'm not interested in Exum taking ten thousand corner 3's ....that only means he's taken out of the offense and is no threat to do what he does best ,taking the ball to the basket. Why does anyone need to "create" offense for Exum when he has one of the top 1st electric steps in basketball.
I want to see floaters, jumpers in the lane and top of the key 3pter's ,this means he has the ball in his hands and creating his own shots and for his team mates.
If he's in the same run to the corner offense ,then he's been taken away from being successful and should be traded.
The best teams play fast and Jazz are the only team in basketball trying to win slow.

Well, we won 51 games and a playoff series by "trying to win slow". We've also played GS closer than anyone else.

The more he shoots, the better his rhythm will be, and the easier it will be for him to attack the rim. I would say 10,000 three pointers at minimum.

Same for Lyles and Hood. They need to be shooting and getting cut every day.

Exum playing within the offense was open for a lot of corner 3s this season and largely could not deliver. The more corner 3s he hits, the more the defense will not be able to play off and will have to respect his shot. Which will open him up for his quick first step to the hole.

Thing is Exum is a PG and playing out of position ,you didn't see Mack or Hill running to the corner .They were allowed to play "within" the system to their strengths. All season the best basketball Exum played was when playing his natural position. If he's not going to be played their then Jazz should move him .On his exit interview he reiterated he's a PG.

He's not a PG until he fixes his handle and off-the-dribble shot.

10,000 over a Summer? In College I would shoot 500 after most practices. Using coaches or a shootaway should allow him to take a lot more shots than that.

Or a girlfriend, probably get rid of his pimples too...

Their basketball skills training might be okay, not my area of expertise, but this businesses sports performance looks awful. He should stay in Utah where there are some fantastic coaches and businesses for that or go to P3 for that side of things if he wants to be in California.

The Jazz facilities apparently are not an option this summer during renovations. I thought they had a separate building for that, so I'm confused by that.

They are renovating and expanding the practice facility as well. It's going to have the largest strength training gym in the NBA when complete.
